Should users who post nothing but political propaganda from debunked sources be banned?

1. Many other platforms are already moderating said content.

2. It's not "speech", per se; it's the equivalent of a bot / AI generating spam posts. The users who post from these sources consistently have no meaningful or intelligent commentary to add, other than hate speech or more propaganda.

3. It would be well within Literotica's current rules to moderate such content.

What do you think? And will the cries of "censorship!" from the propagandists give more credence to the idea? (Spoiler alert: yes.)

As the site has a Politics board, if people just want to post politics posts and nothing else, I don't see anything wrong with that, and it keeps that toxic shit out of proper sexy boards which I'm all in with. I limit my exposure to the Trumptards who frequent this dirty and smelly corner of Lit to a minimum, because life's really too short to argue with idiots all the time.

How do you ban an entire 'media' source without getting into potential legal issues? Lit doesn't have the resources to defend against an action by something like Breitbart.

This is a private business, and it can ban anything it wants and without cause. Freedom of speech doesn’t apply.

^^ But Libel might. Banning a source simply because the Admin here doesn't like it or thinks the credibility is suspect could lead to legal action. That's not a fight Lit wants to deal with. Nor does Lit want to get that kind of attention from the people who might want to knock it off the web.
