I don't know. Don't think my odds of getting it is that great.

If you aren't elderly, asthmatic, pregnant or otherwise at risk of complications, why bother? It has been available for free here in the UK fro quite a long time and I couldn't be less interested in getting it (even though I am asthmatic). If you are in reasonable health, swine flu is only marginally worse than a bout of normal seasonal flu - no biggie.

Just my opinion.

Yeah I don't think I'll get it. The thing is they are giving it at Walmart today.

Just had a full physical exam and the Doc suggested it. Got it and no issues. My answer is why not if u can?

There is a school of thought that non-necessary innoculation weakens the immune system.

I'm 95% sure the flu shots I got in grade 4 (way back in the day, when they were pretty much obligatory) resulted in many health complications for me that I still carry today.

Since then, I haven't trusted any flu shot.

My answer is "if you don't need it, why bother?"

The worse wave is over anyways, the virus is at the beginning of its end.

If you get plenty of rest and are in good health, you probably won't get the flu.

People usually don't get sick; they allow themselves to get sick.

Of course, I'm not a doctor, but that's my theory.

I think that whole thing was blown so far out of proportion it was silly.
