Have you heard of the Del Mar Fair? The past 2 years I submitted my work there and got in...so if you've been there you may have seen my stuff. I'm going to submit again this summer and hopefully I'll get in. I sold a painting a couple years ago from the fair.

you might want to look into the sawdust festival in laguna beach each summer... it runs concurrent with the pagent of the masters art show. your stuff would compliment the beautiful things i see when i go each year...

Really good stuff! My favorites are blueangel (nostalgically reminiscent of Da Vinci's sketches) and redabstract (makes me *see* so many symbolic urban things--bridges, fire escapes, lonely dawns).

It does have something special - there is a serenity. I just realized what it was - it's like looking up from the bottom of some deep water and seeing the sky - I love the chinese character(s) as well.

justpet - thank you once again! I didn;t know you speak Mandarin. I grew up idolizing Nagel and I also like Mukai, I believe a former student of Nagel.

This one was one of the most difficult to paint. Again it's in chalk pastels...

I would have sworn it was airbrush - very nice. We really have to do a shoot/session together. Maybe we can get a local volunteer (someone right here on Literotica) and see what our vision is of the same subject. It would be like that famous road that all the Impressionists liked to paint (not that I would compare myself to them nor do I understand what they saw in that piece of real estate).

I love Spirit. It draws the eye in and makes me think of cool blue depths. Just gorgeous and very calming.

I was wondering if Nagel had been a favorite of yours. I thought the same thing looking at your women.
