What do u guys and girls do about shaving? Crotch wise, anal, bum, back? what products do any of u use? Is there anyone who's completley shaved all over?

General Thoughts on Shaving

I usually shave but I do like a Brazilian before a holiday.

I've Always thought that shaving was erotic in general; to paraphrase Robert Heinlein "An individual that shaves, has a very healthy interest in recreational sex."

Number One, Hair Gets In the WAY of oral sex! Two, why let hair absorb all those delicious juices? Let me taste them, don't waste them in the hair. Totally prefer a Lady that shaves, or certainly trims down to almost nothing.

And for all exhibitionists out there (and voyeurs), shaving just helps put everything on better display. (Not to mention camel toe is Much Better when shaved!)

For myself, I dont totally shave, but my beard trimmer works wonders - eliminates almost all hair around my balls and cock.

personally, i use regular nair, after trimming the hair short. it works well enough, if you're careful around sensitive areas
(trust me, be careful. itches like hell if it gets on a sensitive area for too long)

though i hear about others that are safer for sensitive areas, i can't bring any to mind at the moment

I like to keep my genital and anal area trimmed with hair clippers. I have a good set of clippers that can clip very short if needed. I never shave right to bare skin though.

There is a cream called Magik or Magic (not sure of the spelling), which is available at most drug stores. It is formulated for darker skinned people who tend to have a different sort of hair follicle. I have never used it or any other type of cream. They all work by chemical reaction at the hair root. This can be very harsh, especially on your privates. Some people experience burns from it. They weren't designed for pubic areas. If a company came out with such a product they'd make a fortune.

I have always used razors,,I would recomened a good one though. I have tried Nair in the past and it didnt work that great for me. Have thought about waxing but the pain factor I keep hearing about is what stops me from trying it. As far as the Magic goes I have heard on some people with more sensitive skin you shouldnt use it as they have gotten chemical burns from it. Which is why I have never tried it. I am more fair skinned and my skin is very sensitive. I mean jeeezz just a hour or so out in the sun and I am burned.

it's a cream and it is called Magic ...

don't use razor or Nair, use Magic Shave Cream; it is a preparation designed originally for black men with sensitive faces and comes in two versions, mild and regular.

Get the cream in a tube not the powder. There is a black hair care store just along from where I live in London; I think I am the only white guy ever goes in there. In the US, all the big stores seem to stock these things.

In fact Mrs Golden prefers mild and I prefer regular.

You can do the whole thing or just your favourite bits: we do my sack and shaft and ass and her lips and ass. we leave the mounds covered for decorative reasons - I like to eat smooth lips and clit hoods and I like to see a proper cleft not just a furry blur ... but I don't go for the totally pre-pubescent totally bald look.

Reason for doing this? ? it feels wonderful during intercourse to have direct contact and is immensely more pleasure during oral sex for both parties, the eater and the eaten; I go wild when she licks my smooth sack ...

But shaving? leaves stubble whereas Magic leaves a soft regrowth so you only have to re do it every 2 weeks or so unless you are very hirsute.


Be sensible though:

Test a small area first. These creams are chemical and some people do react against them.

Do a search on MAGIC in literotica - there are several old threads and some people have reported burning - they are ALL idiots who didn't do as told and try a SMALL patch test first, or who left the cream on for too long before removing, or who used something too hard or sharp to remove it (I've done that, scraped too hard, gone to the gym, sat on the cycle machine for an hour and rubbed my ass raw ... ouch and all my own fault).

Apply the cream for 6-9 minutes - suggest you start at 6 and if it doen't remove everything, then a week later go up to 7 or 8. If you start at 9 minutes this could be longer than you need and start to burn a little.

Scrape off and rinse immediately - I scrape in the shower then turn on the hose.

Magic recommends using a spatula; this implies some large scale-scale kitchen implement ... you need something small for the task at hand: the best we have found is the rounded "spoon" from a Haagan Daas Ice Cream Cup!

I've been totally shaved for almost 30 years as has my S/O. I think that there is nothing as pretty as a nice hard dick, standing at attention in all its glory, without any hair hiding it. I use the same sort of razor for legs, armpits, and my bikini / vaginal areas.

Pointers I've learned (mostly from experience)
1. Fresh razors / blades are a MUST. A dull blade leaves a LOT of razor burn, esp on those tender areas

2. I like a good moisturizing shave cream. Personally, the gels that rub into a sort of foam, are nice. Aloe or sensitive skin ones work best for me.

3. Keep the area damp and well lathered to reduce razor burn.

4. Don't shave "up." Follow the direction of hair growth.

5. Take your time. Hurrying = ouch!

6. Replenish your skin. Find a nice mild sort of moisturizer that is gentle in the sensitive areas. I have a woman's "after shave gel" that is nice for the legs and bikini line area. Also a very very light dusting of regular old baby powder helps with razor burn.

7. If you're shaving from long hair growth... use scissors or a trimmer and cut the hair short before you shave with a razor.

I have shaved my private area a few time, just hard to keep up with most of the time. I am a single male and the few times I have shaved it all off it itched like crazy, but I used a razor. The longest I keeped it shaved was 6 months.

I shave the shaft, and balls, mach 3 razor works best, but needless to say, be gentle! Trimmer up top to keep it short, but still there. Have gotten nothing but compliments, so just take it slowly and it should be fine!
