Who watched this feat of cinematic brilliance? Were you one of the sad few who missed out?

Sarcasm aside, my boyfriends buddy wrote this so of course we had to watch. Every ridiculous minute of it. Since a sequel is in the works, I suggested to Thunder that he title it "Sharkpocolypse".

I see huge things for this.

I only caught half of it last night. It scored high on the cheese factor, with the end shark scene being one of the best I've seen in a long time. Definitely a family bonding movie.

My suggestion would be Highlander 2: The Sharkening.

The movie was funny as all hell. What's great about the Syfy movies is that if they doubled the amount of money they spent, it would actually make them worse, because the cheeseball casts and amateur hour special effects are the whole reason people watch.

Worst movie never made? I'd like to think so.

Oh god, we laughed so hard. Here, let's fly this helicopter into a tornado in order to drop a bomb into it. Why not? Sounds legit to me. At least with this title you don't go into it expecting much.

CNN made a great case for it tonight and now I want to watch Sharktopus.

No, I have missed this.

But I was learning about hookering instead.

Just because it was trending on twitter doesn't mean it was any cheesier or cooler than thousands of other B-movies.

Twitter is so fucking bizarre.

I know thats why Lorelie "says" she dug the movie.

What's trending right now: "I made more money today than most of these people to in six months." #thingsloserssaytoboosttheirselfesteem

He said it to me, not you.

Be careful with quotes, Iman. Some of yours are real doozies.

After Sharknado, there's...

Rastafearian: 'No Woman. No Die.' (from BadAssDigest)

This stupid sharknado thing is some kind of superstorm sandy storm tide in the meme-o-plex.

You promised yourself to not get into BS that you started?

Did you fall and hit your head?

Regardless, you failed miserably.

Later, toots.

Yeah, I have to admit. I have no interest in seeing the movie. It's all about the concept, and no flushing out of that concept could ever live up to or be more interesting than the "Sharkado" visual.

Like "Rastafearian" - a Rastafarian slasher flick. The movie poster and tagline is enough. You don't need anything more.

Schlock at its finest and there is a big audience for it.

It had some good moments though I'd say a little above the usual schlock fest.

I say for the sequel you pick a tribute to an all time classic movie. Perhaps part two could be "The Sharking"

But cheeseball movies are a lot of fun.

When my daughters were in their upper teens we would always keep Saturday night clear and watch the sci-fi movie of the week.

We would make popcorn and give it the Mystery science fiction theater 3000 treatment and rag on it the entire way through.

As bad as it sounds it really was great family bonding except for my wife who would not participate and just roll her eyes at us.

No no! You guys are giving the thread the proper Sharknado feel!
