~ You were away? I hope it was a pleasure outing - as well as a pleasant one. I'm glad to be back online, luv.

I must admit though, I was about ready to send Earthlink out to the "back of beyond", let me tell you! I still can't believe that not ONE of the DOZEN Senior Customer Service Reps I spoke to over those three weeks - save one or two - could put their fingers to good use and call the phone company (where the 'glitch' originated from) and TELL them to check the information in their DAMN DATA BASE!!

LOL! It was a very pleasant trip:). Except for the blisters on my fingers from playing my guitar too much:). Wyld was quite the little party girl this trip too. I don't think she ever stopped dancing this past weekend.

I like the new AV. Is that something surrounding you or a big pillow you're sitting on?

finally

Time to come "HOME".......I've missed it here! And all who enter..*sighs*

wow - it's just my day for gentle hugs *happily giving one to you too*

haven't seen much of you recently either, but then that part of r/l marked "work" takes care of Mon/Tue/Wed.

I do hope you're well.

you're very kind to say so: perhaps it's because you're kind and sweet yourself. Like meets like, so to speak?

~ And while I know you're talkin' about the Jazey_girl here, your words were ne'er truer kind Sir. Like meets like - I do like the way you put that. :)

Och! How you do go on! ;) I'd kill to be "working" in a real job again - it's been far too long. And I lost my ISP last month - for the whole month! The morons couldn't get it straight betwixst themselves who was at fault for the "why" I lost it.

And I'm doing as well as one can. And your hugs, be they tight or gentle, are always appreciated!

thank you so much: I believe I have now successfully disproved one of the laws of physics I learned (was taught - yes, let's be pedantic: there IS a difference) way back in the 1950s - basic magnetism always meant that "like poles repel and unlike poles attract". Just the opposite of what I wrote to dear Jazey. So, physics is wrong.

~ When talkin' about "magnets", sadly, like ends repel like ends; while the opposite ends do attract. But - when talkin' about people - more oft than not - I'm findin' that those who are similar - do attract those of a "like" kind.

~ Aren't you glad that physics isn't always right? ;)

physics was wrong when I last sat an exam in the subject in 1961 (gosh, was it really THAT recently?): my marks were fairly appalling, but I never was a scientist.

Good morning Ms B ~ It is so delightful to see you and to hear about the Memorial Day weekend. :) Years ago I played the guitar and I do remember how painful it is without the toughened skin on the finger tips.

~ Physics was never a course I wanted to take, needed to take, and thusly did not take. I have no formal college behind me - life of many years has been my teacher. And what knowledge I have gained from books and training - I am unable to put to use - because no one wants to take on someone who hasn't seen the inside of an office for five years or longer - regardless of the reasons why she has been out of the field for so long. They simply are not interested - nor do they want one who is in her late 50's.

~ They all want young and beautiful - and maybe slightly dumb - and definitely without Customer Service skills and who is rude.

But I digress - my deepest apologies. The last time I was in 'class' per se - was in 2003/2004 - to upgrade my computer skills and have a marketable skill (or so I thought).

Thank you - my physics was just another subject that had to be studied up to age 15/16 before specialising in chosen subjects.

Yes, it's sad that there's no a/c taken of experience; I never went to university but thankfully I've had a full time job for 42 years - that's almost a record these days, I should think - and at the end of it I go by what my dear old Geography teacher used to say (and how true): WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS USE COMMON SENSE, IF ANY

Sorry - customer service skills? That's something that is acquired when people are ejected from charm school for being charmLESS, I think.

And please: no apology is sought or needed, thank you, (but if it makes you feel better, then go ahead);
