and as fucking cold -- i been in once this year already -- it was still a little cold for me even

~ Well - in the summer... I usually take a cold shower - with little to no warm water - at night - just before bed - to lower my body core temp, and to cool off. When it hits those triple digits here - and I don't turn the swamp cooler a/c on early in the day - I have to run cold water over my head a few times during the day. Then at night, sometimes I don't even bother drying off completely. I just head for bed... and sleep the sleep of the comfortable.

~ We used to have a spa chain here in town that had a Norwegian (sp?) Ice Dip for when you got out of the steam room or sauna. It was a small pool of cold water, into which tubular ice cubes were pumped. It was so cold, but it felt so good (to me), and its purpose was to close the body's pores instantly after being opened by the sauna/steam room.
