I know but damn it -- i cant live where Vic does -- No snow at all -- triple digits heat wise -- and NO humidity??
Nope could not do it

~ I HATE IT HERE!! :(
I really miss the snows when it's Winter and gets closer to Christmas - or to hear the wind howl as it blows around the corners of the house and whips up the snow into blowing puffs of powder... and we sit inside, snuggled up in front of a roaring fire and enjoy the company of good friends as we put on Christmas music and decorate the tree.

I DISPISE the triple digit heat! :(

I would too, if I lived in it.

I just get some nasty cold and snow/ice at times... We have triple digit temps very rarely here. We have in the past but they are exceptions.

~ Last Summer was the first one, that I could recall right off, that we didn't have triple digit heat... and it was a BLESSING!! The first year we had triple digits was in 1977... and it was the summer I was pregnant with the man-child. And to make matters worse, I had toxemia and we lived in a mobile home. But we still had snow in Winter then too. The last time I can recall a snow that didn't melt by noon was in 1986 - the year I returned home from England.

And when I lived in Massachusetts... 1998 - 2001... we'd get triple digit heat - occasionally... but it was because of the humidity... which I can remember - sapping the very air out of your lungs the second you walked out of a store. I'd immediately head for home and a cold shower... leaving my hair dripping wet and letting it dry on its own.

Oh my, some of those summers sound deadly.

During summer here we have a problem with the humidity as well. I know what you mean about it causing gasping when you exit an air conditioned place, even if it is just in the high 90s. That we do get.

All those water molecules nudging the oxygen out of the air.

~  {{{{Wyld}}}} And having a crush on Shadow... is this a bad thing? :catroar: ;)

The only complaint we ladies could have with too many having crushes on Shadow is that he feels obliged to give the ladies a bit of his attention away from we ladies that are regularly with him and that's not a good thing.

~ *Sets down a saucer of Kahlua and Creme for DK... just because*

Well, those of you who are around him on a regular basis... are indeed the lucky ones. Because those who have the crushes, who are NOT in the immediate group, have to settle for the "bits of his attention" that he willingly lavishes on those who are with him, and around him, on that regular basis...

Cest vrais, ma petit? ;)
