It is probably true that men would like to see women it things that women might not ware. Ladies could you point us guys in the right direction?

We would like to buy something really hot and sexy for :heart: - day. Show us fishnet body suits, pumps, teddies, whatever you find. Also, could you tell us why or why not?

If it's something a woman wouldn't normally wear and wouldn't want to, then the gift is more for you, isn't it? :D

I'm not too keen on the idea of my guy buying me lingerie. A lot that stuff is cheaply manufactured, uncomfortable and scratchy, too tight or misshapen, not designed for my figure, etc., so wearing it would be no fun for me, if it even fits. And I wouldn't feel sexy in it.

Personally, a sexy gift would be an assortment of heavenly smelling massage oils, followed up with the massages! Or some toys we'd have fun using together. Or a weekend away at a full-service hotel with a heavenly bed and fantastic bathroom for bath/shower play. :catroar:
 
I like high heeled shoes and stilletto heels. that said, if I put on a pair with a five inchheel, it's generally because I expect my feet to be pointed towards the ceiling for the majority of the night and in relatively short order. :)

I'm cofortable in heels, but overall, they arn't a very comfortable or precticle shoe for many activities.

Yes, I'd like the heels to be on her feet when we are getting busy. I can understand heels being comfortable and not practicle, but DAMN! They are so hot.

He did say wouldn't normally wear, not wouldn't want to. There's a distinct difference, although I think you'd have to be very certain of your knowledge and position before trying to push it!

Actually he said things a woman might not wear. I added the qualifiers to that. If it's something I might not wear, it's probably something I either 1) don't want to wear or 2) is uncomfortable so I normally wouldn't wear it, unless it was for him.

Okay, I want you feed back on things that 1) the guy would like (yes, he wants to see the women), but you might not ware 2) Why would you or wouldn't you ware.

I the uncomfortable/pain issue, but I was looking at the sexy angle. Chances are that he'd be ripping the stuff off you anyways :D

I may be wrong in my generalisation, but I think that any item of clothing described by the manufacturer/sales team as 'sexy' - isn't.

It is probably impractical and wholly unsuited for the woman it was bought for.

Who buys panties in a tin can? They are on sale in most UK seaside resorts with 'sexy' messages on the front.

Who buys one-size PVC Nurse's outfits that might fit a small slim woman who could look alluring in a potato sack but look ridiculous on any normal woman?

Who buys French Maid outfits in shiny fabrics with multilayered petticoats and a handkerchief size frilly apron?

Answer to all three - a man who has no idea what the woman would like to wear that compliments her figure instead of making her look like a clown.

There are Nurse and Maid outfits that can make a woman look attractive but those aren't bought by men.

I got around this quite easily. I gave up on buying my wife Lingerie and such, it never worked. Now I just give her a gift card for a local Lingerie store with a good selection. She gets what she knows I'll like to see her in/get her out of and is still comfortable for her to wear. (Last year it was a semi-opaque body suit. Covered her from neck to ankles, minus the crotch. If you cared to look you could see everything. She still wears it when we go out, and gets plenty of comments glances. :devil: )

All those high heels are a mystery to me.

I like feet.
Not really in the classic fetish way, but I'm a big fan of female legs, to which the feet are a lovely part.

And I have yet to see a pair of stiletto-ish high heels that doesn't totally obliterate everything I find attractive about a foot.

I absolutely love sexy lingerie, and sexy shoes too.

Unfortunately, this stuff can be difficult to buy as a surprise gift because sizes & fit vary so much. Buy it too big or too small, and you run the risk of a seriously offended mate.

My suggestion: Ahead of time, take your SO to a store like Victoria's Secret. Walk through the place together and whisper about the items you think are sexy. Go with her to the dressing room, and watch as she tries them on.

[Yes, guys, couples do this all the time. My personal opinion is that this is an insanely sexy idea. And at a place like Victoria's Secret, neither the customers nor the staff will think this is unusual.]

Pay for the panties/teddy/bra/whatever. (Be sure to ask for a gift box; at VS, they are very pretty!) Then keep it out of her sight until the big day.

The same plan works if shoes turn you on. Go to the shoe store, pick out various choices, and have her walk around in front of you to model the options and help you decide.

(Doesn't this sound fun? :cool: It does to me! )

Wrap up your lingerie or sexy shoes in pretty paper, with a bow and a card that tells her how you feel. On the 14th, present the gift and card with flowers or champagne or an invitation to dinner at a nice restaurant.

When you are ready, ask her to model the gift.....

If I want to buy her nice undies... I give her a nice sized gift card to Vicky's.

I find most women are intelligent enough to throw in one really hot item so they don't have to pay for their own everyday undies and bras.
