Sex workout?

I apologize if this has been covered before, I couldn't find anything about it.

I'm currently in a situation where I only get to have sex every couple of months (it's a distance thing). When we're apart, I admit I'm not really overly active and I spend a fair amount of time sitting at a desk. When we get together, the sex is amazing, but I find I'm not in good enough shape to do everything I want to do. It can be exhausting for me to be on top, and my mouth can't seem to open as much as I'd like it. Also, I get leg cramps rather easily.

Oh, and I guess I should mention that I'm a female, and my partner is male.

So my question is this - does anybody have any good "sex workout" tips? Streches, etc, that will work the necessary body parts? I'm seeing him a few weeks, and I want to be able to go all night with him, not poop out like an old fart.

Any advice?
 
well besides your stretching (yoga can be great for this and very relaxing taboot) you might consider adding a nice cardio workout to your daily routine. just 20 min of light jogging or whatnot. both of those should help.
 
I don't think that at 33 you'd be classified as an old fart.

I suggest going to a gym and getting some help that way.

If your not into gyms or don't want to spend the money then there are things you can do that won't cost you a cent.

Try walking places more, like to the green grocers or post box. Sometimes its easier having a nightly walk than trying to incorperate it into everday life. The walk (should be brisk pace if you can stand it) will help your cardio and ultimatly your endurance in bed. Get a friend to go with you to keep you company. It may get to be a regular thing if you make it enjoyable and not a chore.

My next suggestion involves spending a couple pounds. Get an exersize ball or yoga ball or whatever they are called. There are so many things you can do at home with them it isn't funny. You know what I'm talking about? Its a really big inflatable rubber ball. They come in a couple diff sizes. Try the smaller one.

You can do push ups on it by kneeling down with the ball infront of you. Place your chest on the ball and lean into it while extending your legs. Use your arms to steady yourself. You should roll up on the ball (be sure you have some space in front of you because this exersize takes some room) and walk with your hands to a "comfortable" possition. You can adjust the level of difficulty by rolling further out onto the ball (the closer the ball is to your feet the harder it gets). Now do 3 sets of 10 reps ie. 10 push ups wait a min. then do another set untill you have completed 3 sets.

Another good exersise are squats. It is just like squating down but with a couple points to remember. Get a clean section of wall or a door that locks securely (don't want it poping open) and stand a couple feet from it facing away. Put the ball between the wall and your lower back and move back so you sandwich the ball between you and the wall. Lean against it with your feet spread at shoulder width apart. When you do the squats make sure that you don't let your legs make an angle with each other that is less than 90 degees. If your calfs and thighs touch you have gone way too far. It will stress your knees too much if you go less than 90 degrees. Idealy your thighs would be paralell to the ground. Also your knees should never extend past your feet. Imagine a line straight up and down infront of your toes. Your knees shouldn't pass this line. that means that you might have to shuffle your feet slightly forward when you are standing up. The ball helps to keep your form from being sloppy!

These are a couple of easy exersises. I hope that you can follow those directions. The walk should be for 30 min. 6-7 days a week. The exersises should be done 5 times a week. Regular "girls" push ups (use your knees instead of your toes) work too. Once you know how its really easy.

If your really interested in keeping your boyfriend excited then try some keigel exersises. He will go wild when you sping that on him!! Good Luck!!

Pilates and belly dance classes!

Practice being in the positions you find hard to do, build up time slowly.

Practice with your fingers in your mouth, dildo, or banana.

Get a boy toy to practice with ;)

Yoga: Gives a good stretch after a day at the office. And stretching will make sex more enjoyable and less painful.

Pilates: works the core, can be done in only 20 minutes and maintain effectiveness. I lost more belly fat doing this than any other workout. I recomend Ana Cabin as an instructor. Look her up.

StripCardio: Stripperobics. Get your work out and your sex out too!
 
geesh - wait til you get in your 40's! My guy is 52 - we both suffer from asthma - sometimes I think it might be prudent to invest in an oxygen tank - just in case! lol
 
Thanks for all the replies! I've been stretching a lot, doing lots of walking and such - I can't really afford a gym at the moment, but I'm going to check out one of those exercise balls. Also, my flatmate is an actor, and she showed me some excellent jaw exercises. (although it's still more fun to practice on a dildo)

And CrazyBBW - yes, we're both asmatic as well - the oxygen tank isn't such a bad idea!

Various exercises are good and all that but there's
no substitute for building stamina by doing the same
activity more. IOW, you get to be able to do 50
push ups by starting out with 15, then 20 .. etc.. ;)

If you need a "work out partner" .... heh heh hehhh

Try this

I read in a book that any exercise that involves moving ur hips and waist will help you to be strong when you are making love.
Pushups, belly crunches etc..
