Oo, ooo, example right now!Oh, it's cheap but the wait is long. If you want to live in stockholm. There's a governmental queue called Stockholms Bostadskö, costs about 20 usd a year to be in it, and then you use your queue time to get a rental at no monetary cost.
Issue being that, when looking at apartment in stockholm city center, some people have been in queue longer than I've been alive
Another good reason as to why we moved away from there.

I KNIW HOW TO SAY IT!!!
That’s what I’m saying!I mean… McD’s Coke is something special …. Not unlike my vajoozle
For context …. I live in a gorgeous… but expensive city… and for a 2-bed basement suite I pay over $2k a month.Oo, ooo, example right now!

Blue arrow, smack dab in the middle, absolutely GORGEOUS neighbourhood. 4 rooms, 85 square meters, 4th floor so has a good view, only about 1000 USD a month.
People who've signed up to look at it. Longest queue times. Means they have prio:

fffffucking hell.... That's not even remotely okay...For context …. I live in a gorgeous… but expensive city… and for a 2-bed basement suite I pay over $2k a month.
That would get you access to a shelf in a broom cupboard in LondonFor context …. I live in a gorgeous… but expensive city… and for a 2-bed basement suite I pay over $2k a month.
nor is thisI think in reality… if I paid the full amount of my rent …. It’s only 30% …. But I have a good job.
I know people making minimum wage and rent is like 50% of their income. Most people not making at least double or triple the minimum wage are working 2+ jobs to survive
Yeah … Vancouver and Toronto are SO expensive… it’s absolutely mental.fffffucking hell.... That's not even remotely okay...
I’m small…: I can fit. That would get you access to a shelf in a broom cupboard in London
We’re all going down fast…..I just priced out a condo in Del Mar, San Diego - $5500 for a 2 bed, 2.5 bath - 1300 sq feet.
I looked over what you could get here for 3k usd here.Yeah … Vancouver and Toronto are SO expensive… it’s absolutely mental.
Minimum for a 1 bed anything is like almost $3k now

No. I don't think so. I loved the anime Ghost in the Shell though...Ok here’s a question to ponder ….
If you could upload your consciousness to a digital platform … and live out the rest of your “life” there instead of the real world.
You’d still have to work but everting would be significantly cheaper because it’s not the real world it’s all digital.
You could live in a fancy house depending on what your job is…
You could travel to places around the world … they would only be simulations of the real world but would look and feel real. Like Paris or Rome..
You could have a pet but no kids…
The catch is …. You would no longer be “alive” in the real world. Your body would be cremated and just your consciousness would exist.
Would you do it ???
After watching Upload and Black Mirror - San Junipero.... Heeeeeeeeeeeell noThe catch is …. You would no longer be “alive” in the real world. Your body would be cremated and just your consciousness would exist.
Would you do it ???
I think we are one or two dominoes away from people really struggling. We’re all going down fast…..![]()
And there in lies the next AppleTV+ series plot!Ok here’s a question to ponder ….

I'd need to know details and rules but in theory I'd be down with this. Probably after I'm ready to die of old age.Ok here’s a question to ponder ….

That's.... insanely cheap though! Even after the increase. Compared to Sweden.I make excellent money and live in one of the most affordable states in the US. I bought my home right before COVID for $200k; 5 bed, 2.5 bath, custom kitchen, and 1/2 acre property. It has increased in value by 50% in 4 years. I don't know if I could afford to buy the house I live in now. It's insane.
