I see quite a few of my favorite stories have disappeared from my favorites list but on visiting the authors page I still see that the stories are there with the bookmark icon checked next to them. And I did not uncheck any of them even by mistake. So what happened?
Even a few days back I could see them in my list but now they're just gone. Also the number of favorite stories is still the same as before so it doesn't seem like they were deleted by the author.

Stories in question-
Guilty by ohio
Jenel the Intern by russeltrust
Keeping Ice On The Wound by MugsyB
That's What Friends Are For by lovecraft68
Locked in with a Succubus Ch. 10 by manyeyedhydra
The Boss & Her Secretary by kmarkk
and few more.

Is the site acting up or something else is the issue?

Well, it took bloody forever, but I expanded your full list, and they don't show up on the public side. ( The new "show more" method of displaying these lists leaves much to be desired ) Saw a couple of mine in there, so glad you enjoyed them!

If you're seeing the bookmark still checked on the authors' pages, that's absolutely a glitch. I suspect it's the length of your list that's causing it to bug out.

You could always create an additional reading list, add those missing stories to it, and see what happens over time. If there's something specific to those stories, they'd be easier to track that way if they vanish again. Since you're the only person who's reported this so far, there's a good chance it's not going to be easy to track down whatever's going wrong. You might have to resort to creating new lists by category, for example, on this page.

The blue, circular + button at the top will let you create a new list, and choose whether it's public or private. You can also name it for ease of locating things. Incest Stories. Ohio Stories. So on and so forth.

If I'm right and the length of your list has something to do with the glitching, then creating more, smaller lists could at least keep them all intact. You could also find it more convenient after an initial pain the ass of splitting everything up. Even just moving a few things like authors you've favorited a lot of stories for out into their own lists could be enough.

Just some suggestions to work around the glitch, should it take a very long time to get fixed, which isn't uncommon.

I love your stories RR. Didn't visit your page in a while and glad to see you post a couple of new ones.

Might have to look into it but hoping it gets fixed.

Trying to get back in the groove. I've got some things floating around, but I'm still in the phase of the mire where I have ideas, but the page remains blank. I'll eventually have a breakthrough idea that will get me going for a half dozen or more stories. That's just the way I am nowadays. If you've never checked me out as LesLumens, there might be some stuff you like there. My stuff as Darkniciad is almost all fantasy ( with one humor series thrown in ) but Les is a mixture of fantasy and similar stuff to RR. The latest started out as an RR story but got too long, so I transferred Inher-tit-ance over to Les.

Having done some coding in the far flung past, and with my own website down to an unknown error, I know how much of a pain in the ass tracking down a bug can be. Sometimes you get lucky, but most of the time it's tears and tearing your hair out. LOL Thought some workaround suggestions would be in order ;)

I didn't know you posted under other aliases. Will check those out. (y)
