Remove Deleted Stories from Favorites List

The author of a few of my favorite stories deleted the original posts and reuploaded edited, proofread versions. The old versions are still visible on the Favorites section of my profile page, but they aren't on my favorites list when I go to Options (Control Panel).

I'm constantly organizing and cleaning my computer and my profile on every website I'm active on, and I want to remove the old versions from my profile Favorites page so people don't click on a dead link. Is there a way to remove them since they're not in the Options menu (Control Panel)?

Go to your Control Panel, click in your Favorites List; you should have a list of every story you've favorited. Find the superseded stories and delete the listing. If I'm understanding you correctly...

That's what I meant by Options. The CP is listed as "Options" under the drop-down menu under your LE profile pic.

The deleted OG stories aren't in the Control Panel Favorites menu. Only the first chapter of the reuploads, which is the only one I favorited.

As I understand the system, if an author deletes a story, that version is gone forever, but I don't know how that transfers through to someone like yourself, who favorited that story - possibly a dead link.

If the author has edited the story, everything should remain as it was, with the old version replaced by their new copy.

The only place you can housekeep your Favorites list is from the CP - I've always assumed your Profile page feeds from that.
