Greeneyedvirgin could use some love from all her friends here. She has been living with her mom, caring for her during her battle with cancer. The battle is over. Hopefully the big hole in her heart can get filled with your love. Thanks.

James...Ty for letting us know...you are so sweet...GreenEyedVirgin has been such a devoted and deeply loving daughter for her mom for so long...

My heart and prayers for you and your family sweetie...((((((((hugs))))))))...:heart::heart:

Sending Greeneyedvirgin my heartfelt sympathies for her loss. I've been in a similar situation with my mother, though not as lengthy and challenging as I believe hers has been.
Greeneyed... remember to be nice to yourself... take care of yourself. You've done a wonderful, loving thing for your mother, and, I'm sure you already feel this, but I know, I was so glad I was able to care for my mother in the end. I got to say goodbye, I got to really know her better and understand things about myself more. I wish you the best, girl... And for me, still... when I feel it... I cry. I cry, I cry and I cry. But it's a healthy cry. Afterwards, I feel good—sad, yes, but good. You gotta feel it... and I know you do. Your heart is gigantic.
Sending you all my love.:heart:

(((((((Hugs))))))) Greeneyedvirgin

I am so very sorry for your loss. :(
Please, remember to take care of you. It's one of the easiest things to let slip. Lean on those who offer support, draw strength from them. You're in my thoughts and prayers. :rose:

I know exactly what she is going through.

Something I wouldn't wish on anyone, hope she gets through it and also wish to express my condolences.

jameslewis, only you could put it in such a loving way. Thanks for that, love to you too.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, GEV as you say goodbye to your mom. :rose:

Leaving thoughts, prayers, and long hugs for you, Greeneyedvirgin :rose:

GEV.... we don't speak on the threads but I see your posts on Lit Radio. Sending my thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to GEV and her family. Your mother's struggles are over and she is at peace. Remember your love for each other and find comfort in that. :rose:

Green Eyed Virgin,
I hope you find solace in the time you have cared for her and the love you showed her.
sorry for your loss Sweetie--:rose::rose::rose:

Thank you James for starting this for me, you've been a wonderful friend to me for over a year now. I treasure you deeply.

Thank you every one for your thoughts and prayers. I don't have much time to answer all of your posts personally, but I means a lot to me that you care enough to send your wishes my way.

I've chatted with a few of you on here about my mom's health. She was diagnosed with a form of Leukemia in 2010 and I was the one that took her to all of her appointments, did everything for her. With her immune system being so low, she was very susceptible to other infections and we fought them whenever they came up and she always beat them. She had a mass on her right lung and we brought her home, kept her comfortable and she went peacefully in her sleep.

Taking care of her all the time didn't leave me much time to have friends. I've made them on here and I value each and every one of you.

I'll still be here, I'm not leaving....just taking care of everything that I have to.

Kisses to all of you.

We've not chatted before, but I send my hugs anyway. It's wonderful that so many people here care about you, and you them. Says a lot. :)

Wishing you peace and healing.:rose:

So sorry for your loss, may the support of your many friends and relatives help carry you through this tough time.

Love and prayers FW

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my Mother in September and I wasn't able to be there with her in the end. Ever since, a little part of her goes with me around my neck every day. Looks like you've had a lot over the past five years so, remember, it's okay now to breathe and take time for yourself even as you deal with all the details. It's often overlooked how the caregiver's health suffers when the focus is on the patient.
