I got an email from him whilst I was asleep and his place of work was totally destroyed by a Tornado.

He's obviously safe but this is a devastating event and I am sure he'd appreciate your prayers and good wishes for himself, his friends, family and townsfolk as they recover from this terrible force of nature.
