I just checked out some of the results from googling 'self bondage' and found tons of great information on techniques, instructions and safety. One thing I do know is that taking every safety measure you can to ensure you have several 'outs' if something goes awry or you need help quickly is absolutely necessary.

You might also try looking through the BDSM Library and asking in BDSM Talk, though I'd definitely suggest going the Google route and searching for prior discussions of the topic first.
