Spiderman 2 was fun! I may have to go see it again. We went to IHoP afterwards to talk and hang out, and the waiter and I started discussing movies. Much to the chagrin of my nieces. Can I help it that I like cute, young guys? *grin*
The gym is closed, so I went to Wallyworld and walked that huuuuge store. Picked up a nifty birthday gift for my niece, and a new saute pan. Among assorted other things. I should drag myself off the computer and work on the living room. Should being the operative word here.

I just worked till almost 7 am this morning
had one patient who thought there was dogs running around barking and kept hollering for someone to come get them damn dogs out of the house
sadly there was no dogs in there
better than the patient a while back who insisted there was chickens in her bed!! now that one was funny

Its tough at times and there are days I swear I will never go back,but I always do.

Bama,
it sounds as if you work in a nursing home. I'm sure you have many funny but also sad stories like that. My dad is in one right now due to a double leg injury so i see alot of these folks as we go to visit him. Last time there as i was leaveing a old lady begged me to call the police to get her out of the place! It is funny but sad at the same time. working in Neuro i've had many a strage stories told to me!

btw I have a patient who also beggs to call the cops she says we kidnapped her and are holding her hostage. your right sometimes funny and other times heart breaking.

I have one patient who knows I have a problem with my potassium,so she demands she gets 2 bananas on her breakfast tray she eats one and saves one for me.When they tried to tell her that I wasn't suppose to eat her bananas she got so upset they gave in lol
so every night she gives me a banana and I hafta sit in her room and eat it cause she is keeping my potassium up
I was just off a week and when I went back I had a weeks worth of nanas I said I can't eat all them!! she said take them home and catch up lol

I agree that it would be nothing like what people think that it would.
