I don't mind winter so much. But heat and humidty? Blech. That's why I couldn't live in the south. Summer in Illinois is more than I can bear without air conditioning. I'd hate to try anything further south. You can always pile on another blanket, or find someone to snuggle with, but you can only take off so much.

Besides, in winter you can have a roaring fire, bake up some bread and make a pot of homemade soup. You can't do that in the summer.
