Its a funny thing, but I I have found that many *skinny* women actually can't grasp what it is about a heavy women that men like. even here at Lit, I ran across a women who at one time Pmed the Males I was talking with, and ask them, have you even looked at her? she is nothing compared to me! what is this power she has over you? havent you looked at her, Iam beautiful, Iam thin, I have it all over her so tell me, what is it you see in her.

One man replied, with Capture my Mind and you can hold me forever, capture My eyes and its fleeting.. she said Exactly! so what do you see in HER!

When I stopped laughing I told him

"Ohhh, Look Its Barbie, your old Girlfriend, And I think I seen her shopping at the mall with her New Boyfriend, and isn't that YOUR Credit Card she is Using?"

Big or Little what you have to offer is yourself, be true to it, and love from your heart, thing is I think BBW tend have been forced to look beyond oneself and can see clearly, while a Barbie is so busy hearing how lovely she is that she becomes self centered and forgets that there are others out there besides her lovely self ~smile~ have a great day all

I love what you said here, it was great.

But what's difficult is getting that chance to connect a man with your mind... especially for me since I'm shy.... but that's why there is the internet!!

I just love the internet... it gives a voice to those who can't find one on there own and it gives people a chance to know what's on the inside, really get to know the person!

Okay just putting in my two cents....

Good morning everyone.

Missy, I think that it also gives people a chance to know one another in ways that we normally wouldn't because so many people judge other strictly on the outward appearance.

There's something about the net, perhaps the animosity, that really helps one lose their inhibitions and let themselves go. Definitely a plus for building a relationship, even with people whom you probably wouldn't have started off in person.

I so totally agree Vay. The only problem with it is that the emotion can't be seen in the words on the screen. So people sometimes can misunderstand things.

True, there is a bit of a guessing game there, but the same can be said in person as well. Like myself for example, I've been told that I can be hard to read. Just gotta use your best judgement at time. There's never a true easy way.

Or be self confident enough to ask what was meant. I find that works very well. If I think that there could be more than one meaning to something that is said I will ask about it.

Indeed. When in doubt, ask! I hate it when people try to second guess me. Especially when they're wrong!:D But typically people ask, I seem to notice that with those older than me than those younger. Maybe it has something to do with that?

Maturity teaches us to take our time, make sure that we understand the person that we are talking with.

Confidence works well in a lot of things not just talking . Many other ways of expressing youself that confidence will improve

Very true Vay...Good evening and how are you?

I'm doing alrighty. Just got back from "work" and dinner. However, I have to get up extra early tomorrow so I can go to "work". (tonight's work was the volunteer gig at the Science Center. Tomorrow's work is the paying job at the pipe warehouse). Gotta clock in by 6am (not looking forward to that), but I get paid time and a half for it (now that I am looking forward to).

How's things on your end?

Wet, very wet...It has rained here the biggest part of the day.

And here I am thinking you're about to go into something dirty with those first words!;)

No rain today, but insanely humid. StL weather is not friendly!
