I'm currently leaning towards a certain direction, here, and that is him ordering them to swear total allegiance to trump so they will do whatever trump desires if:
a) the government shuts down
b) the fallout expected where (with the election of that new dem in the HoR) there will be enough votes to force a release of the epstein files if 4 republican reps don't capitulate and withdraw theirs.
c) potentially a response to the UN overwhelmingly rejecting the trump order of things and what that might mean
of course it could be all of these perceived threats to trump's power combined, and add to that Canada's fuck you to him as it has quietly made all sorts of deals and allegiances. In the chaos that is the trump whitehouse, it could even be a 'show' to suggest trump means to hold putin to account. Depends what he thinks he has to gain by doing so or lose by not. Jeez, it could also indicate a willingness to 'go after' all media 'enemies of the state' who refuse to kow-tow... the biggest question there would be will mickey mouse be wearing a tin hat and carrying a rifle for him or singing and dancing about peace and love for all?
I'm thinking of all the people who fought for America, or worked on war projects like radar or the A-bomb who belonged to groups the Trump administration hates. Thinking of the native-American "code talkers," the African-American "Red Tails" and of course those foreigners (some of them Jews!) like Enrico Fermi, Albert Einstein, Leo Szilard, Hans Bethe, Edward Teller, Rudolf Peierls, I. I. Rabi, Chien-Shiung Wu, Emilio Segrè, James Franck, . . .
And my personal favourite, that illustrious gay mathematician Alan Turing. He did his work in the UK, but I'm sure the Trumpians would have hated him anyway!

Hegseth is going to lead the military leadership is an oath of personal allegiance to Donald Trump. Won't be the first time this has happened.

This action is quite concerning and absolutely unprecedented, this situation comes on the heels of Poland stating that Poland will begin to attack/shoot down incoming Russian missiles over Ukraine that are not targeting Poland, Poland is overtly entering the war with Ukraine outside of article 5 (Europe wants a war/needs this war)......for the great reset
