More people didn't vote than voted for either candidate - in every presidential election in my lifetime.

Almost half of those who can vote never do.

More than 90% of those who can vote ignore the primaries.

Over 95% ignore local elections.

That's the problem that got us into this mess. We don't vote. We play at being citizens. We work at being consumers.

I’m not sure that’s true. Republicans believe that which is why they try to repress voting I think an unmotivated and uninformed voter is just as likely to vote Republican as Dem.

If that ^ happens, then things can truly change in a matter of a few short years: Expansion of the SCOTUS; the enshrinement of Roe into law; the return of the Chevron Deference, etc, etc. - just do NOT expect: UNLIMITED universal healthcare, UNLIMITED free college, UNLIMITED social handouts; UNLIMITED expansion of Trans "rights", etc, etc.
