They are going for shock value in order to get people to tune in "to see what happens next"

Problem is the ones who aren't fans are disgusted out by the description of what's going on and have their belief that wrestling is crap is strengthened. Meanwhile fans who tune in every week (re: people like me) are disgusted by what they see and start to believe the opinions of the non-fans that wrestling is crap.

The only WWE show that I really like is Tough Enough 3.

japanese wrestling is way ahead of wwe especially the shoot matches
wrestlers like jushin liger and keiji muto out perform undertaker and hhh any day of the week
