The bottomline is: Its illegal to offend anyone or scare them or express a preference.

When I did psychotherapy, one of the canons of the trade was people control their own feelings: You cant make someone love you or get horny for you or feel sorry for you or make them wanna put you in their will.

So now you cant fire anyone or repossess their car or dump a boring lover or give your deadbeat brother in law a piece of your mind, cuz its hateful.

And dont you dare make fun of my Arkansas heritage! My feelings are tender and vulnerable.

3rd Degree Bias Intimidation: Invasion of Privacy on 9/19, under circumstances that caused Tyler Clementi to be intimidated, and considering the manner in which the offense was committed, Clementi reasonably believed that he was selected to be the target of the offense because of sexual orientation.

2nd Degree Bias Intimidation: Invasion of Privacy on 9/19, knowing that the conduct constituting invasion of privacy would cause Tyler Clementi to be intimidated because of sexual orientation.

3rd Degree Bias Intimidation: Invasion of Privacy on 9/21, with the purpose to intimidate Tyler Clementi because of sexual orientation.
