Runners unite

I use the Adrenaline 25 now. Love them, my 4th pair.

Anyone run today? I wimped out of the cold and decided on a home spinning session instead!
I did run yesterday (7ish recovery miles). Although it was cold it wasn't too bad.

Easy running on the plan today. Must go get on that...

It has been unusually cold for us Floridians. At least it finally stop raining. It is in the 50s today... perfect running weather... Let's go!!!

New to the threads. Trail runner from the SE here.
Welcome welcome....I think the only entry requirement is stating what brand shoe you use. Not for judgement, everyone likes different, just interesting to see!

I mix road and trail, both in Brooks. Definately feel the train runs afterwards for the different muscles they use for stability etc...but the mud etc.. feels almost rewarding!

Hi everyone … lifelong runner here, 50/m in Texas. trails and road running, track to ultras. Training for a half marathon race next. Kicked off training with a 14 mile progression run yesterday and it was ok. Not yet where I want to be but a good fitness check all the same.
Sounds like a good start to me 🙂

Thanks! Enjoyed a nice easy 5K with some friends this morning before heading to the local tax office for a way past due vehicle registration. Fun times.
The 5k sounds much more fun than the tax office...

Had an easy run on part road, part woodland this morning from home...
I was happy to feel 40 degrees here in the Midwest Saturday, so I celebrated with an easy 5k in shorts while I dodged piles of snow melting.
...and having had to do the conversion for temperature I can in something similar; but I wasn't wearing shorts 🤣

Took advantage of unseasonably warm weather for January and snuck in an outdoor 3.5 mile run. Sunshine is good for the soul!

Productive few days for me on the running front. Rest day tomorrow and then long run Saturday!

It’s taken me years to slowly get back into running because of my knees. I’m not fast but at least I’m moving. Hope you can find a way to slowly get back into it. Good luck.
I do have path but will take another major surgery. Hoping to get it later this year or next year. But I will be back and thank you! I'm glad you're back to running too 😊

Ran a Half Marathon yesterday in Miami. Heat and humidity were HORRIBLE. Nevertheless, it has been an amazing experience. 18.500 runners from all over the world came to Miami to celebrate the sport that unite us all, regardless of political views, sex orientation, race, age, etc.

It is empowering and humbling to see that many people, every single one of them fighting an internal battle that we know nothing about, hit the asphalt and cheer each other like that. It was a feast for the soul.

Can't wait to do it again.

Increasing my training load, gearing up for a St Paddy’s Day 10k. Knocked out a 5.25 mile tempo run yesterday. It was tough but I survived and I’m here to talk about it today.
That’s a big tempo run - did you break it up with some recovery at all?
