Dang! Star, I flex on Friday - won't be at work! I could still challenge you, but I'll be running errands all day so not sure if it is the same thing. Of course, I get my nails done Friday, and I have a total crush on my manicurist! *sigh* What can I say? But Dawg, I'll still take you up on that drink. Maybe I'll bring my manicurist along just for some added fun?

Oh! And today is Wednesday. That means it's my "official" deli day! Hopefully gonna see my guy today! Even if he doesn't make my sandwich, I can still watch him, if he is there! WOOHOO!

Yes, folks, Soli's idea is a good one, so I'm adding my own shameless plug! Kit, I like the idea, and I do believe a male companion is on his way. Perhaps we might think of something together? *rubbing hands together*

Okay, and I do have a topic this morning. (Do I hear a collective groan, yet?) I've read both here and at other threads on Lit about women getting hot at work and needing to go to the ladies room to get "relief". So, my question(s) is/are: Have you ever gotten so hot at work that you needed to go to the restroom to get off? (applies to BOTH men and women!) If you have, have you only done this once? Or have you done this a few times? Do you do this on a regular basis of some kind? And if you haven't, why or why not?


While I don't think I make a regular habit of it, I do write stories to a special some one on some days and I get so bothered that I need to do something about it. I would say I do this at least once or twice a week, but sometimes not at all. From some of the people I've talked to, I thought I was some sort of freak for doing this, but have since heard of others. So, at least I'm not the only freak on the block!

Let me begin by saying that I do not think that you are a freak Chele. But, no I have never gotten off at work. That is not to say that I haven't gotten all hot and bothered while still at my workplace, because certainly I have. In those instances I suffered through "blue balls." Terrible thing! As a result I try to maintain myself while at work. Very hard to do sometimes.

Honestly?

I have to admit that I have never had the inclination whilst at work to slip away to release any tension.

You might think that is weird given I was the only woman in the office (This world of male dominated IT Development )

Why? - I don't really have an answer. I think probably I was usually so totally focused when I was working that I didn't think about anything else.

The Guys I worked with I can't really speak for them, most of them were married anyway and to their credit they alway treated me as an 'equal' i.e. 'just one of the guys' which again I wasn't unhappy about either.

Perhaps it is the profession or just the general attitude of the British workers but I can honestly say I never had a bad day socially at work

Hey guys, I'm baaaaack!!!!

Boston was wonderful, of course. The weather was simply perfect being in the low 80s winds. If you guys ever get a chance to visit Boston, stop by a little pub on Huntington Ave called 'Dick's Last Resort'! It offers tall steins of cold beer, great hamburgers with kick ass buffalo fries and a great live band every night. Also, the men were hot, hot, hot!!!

I can't say that I have gotten all hot and bothered at work. The two jobs I have had are as follows: working with the disabled, and teaching high school. So, there just isn't much to get me all worked up. Well, there was the one time that I got a flower with a naughty message from my boyfriend, but it wasn't all that impressive as far as naughty messages go.

So, while I can see people sneaking off to get off, I can't say I have participated.

Ht, sailing lately? I've just returned from the Sailing Squandron and found a school of dolphins feeding on Mackeral near shore. In fact they were so close to us, one of the kids felt a bump on his rudder.

From just talking to a few people, it seems quite a number will be away for Fourth of July. Unfortunately, July is the busiest month of the year for me, so I will be working my little tail off. I will however will be at a party for the evening festivities.

What are your plans? Do you guys go all out with the BBQ, fireworks, alcohol, etc?

So the G8 Summit is going on in our back yard (in Kananaskis-public forestry land about one hour outside of Calgary). Air Force 1 landed on Tuesday, and the helicopters are flying over the city almost all day and night. I think Dubya is flying in and out of the Canada back to Montana each night. Or so they say, but who knows for sure. All I know is it’s made for a very busy airway around here! I don’t quite understand all the hub bub over a three day event…but I do know it’s summer in this city and HOT, the windows are open all night long to cool the house, but the damn choppers make so much noise I can’t get any sleep. I can’t wait for peace and quiet to rein supreme again starting Saturday. At least I think that’s the day the G8 is over!

*eyeing Dawg after his invitation to join me in bed* Move it on over toots…I’ll happily join YOU in your bed, especially come about November here! Hey Dawg, you’re not a blanket hawg are you?

As for Chele’s topic for today…when I first got online, it was at work. I didn’t have the internet at home. I did exchange some sexy emails with a man at that time, which did on occasion require a trip to my car at noon hour where I relieved the itch. But I quickly gave up the practice of sexy emails because I didn’t want to worry about my job over sexual emails. To this day, as most of you know, I don’t bother visiting any kind of sex site (including Lit) from work. I do sometimes visit personal web sites from work, but very few, especially now that I have the net at home. Though I do have lots of opportunity to oggle sexy young men at work, and I never miss the opportunity to do that! And a few of the men I work with are fun to flirt with, and that too can get one’s motor running! At max I go to my car maybe twice a year to relieve myself when I’m at work. I’m pretty conservative now and mostly wait to get home for that now. Maybe I’m getting old!??

Welcome back chanaud! You’ve been a busy traveller lately…I hope overall (except I know the camping trip was a tad disappointing) that your travels have been great fun and many a blast (yes of the orgasmic variety too!).

I, for one, will be celebrating Canada Day on July 1. It’s a day off, and we usually spend it outside soaking up the sun (mostly we do have sun that day, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed). And then we go to the highest hill in the city and lay down on a blanket and then stay up until midnight waiting for it to get dark enough, and watch the fireworks. I’m not much of a drinker at all, so mostly I stick to my good old Diet Coke on the rocks! But lots of the younger crowd drink beer from their plastic cups hiding their beer as they wait the earth shattering event. What can I say, we’re Canadian eh!

Then us lucky Calgarians have the Calgary Stampede starting on Friday, July 5th, and most places of business let their employees off for the morning to go to the parade. I’m lucky enough that my boss gives me the whole day. So it’s a short 3 day week for me next week. Of course that only means I have to get 5 days of work done in 3!

Jaen…I know you work with high school students too. Do you have some time off now that school is out? Are summers a time for you and your kids to kick back and relax a bit? I hope so. You probably could really use some time to get away from all that smoke!

The 4th of July is by far my favorite holiday! I love the summer and the 4th is a huge celebration for us. Chicago has their Taste of Chicago and the fireworks are set off over the lake on the evening of July 3rd. There are literally 100's of thousands of people in the streets. But this year we will be at home because we will have 3 sick puppies that need to be nursed back to health. Cleo (4 year old German Shepherd) had to go in on Tuesday because she had a "hot spot" on her tail that she licked raw. Poor girl has to wear an inverted lamp shade for the next few days. Snowball (our little American Eskimo) is going in today for knee surgery on the first of her back legs. Six weeks of recovery and then we'll have the other knee done as well. And little Miss Zona (the baby dynamo German Shepherd) is going in tomorrow to get fixed. It'll be the animal hospital around our place for a while. And somehow Hubby gets to miss out on all the fun because he's going golfing next week!

In answer to Chele's query (do I really need to answer?), I probably make a special trip to the ladies room about 6 times a year when something really gets me going. . .like your stories on Monday, dear. ::winx::
