I have the damnedest little chipmunk eating from the birdfeeder outside my office window. The feeder is just an open tray hanging from a hook. He climbs the hook, sits in the middle of the tray and stuffs his little cheeks till he looks, well, like a chipmunk with stuffed cheeks. Then, he stands on his hind legs and almost seems to grin at my cat, who has a bed on my desk at window level. I wouldn't mind him being there, except that he keeps the birds away. I may have to go grease the pole so he stays down. Sorry, just a blip from, my exciting day.

It's so hot here today. I only wore a little sundress and panties to the office and it's been fun watching the boys try and not stare. I know, I'm being naughty but sometimes a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do!

Star! Shame! On me, that is, for not thinking of the same darn thing! Actually, last Friday I was feeling "frisky", and went braless to work. Yes, I know, shocking, huh? Well, it was only after I'd got to work and walked into the ladies room that I realized the clingly black shirt that I chose to wear was faintly see-through! I don't know who was more shocked - the guys I work with or me!

Dawg, I am awaiting Captain Pithe anxiously! You do know how to keep a character mysterious, don't you?

Kit, do you know that I hadn't actually read through all the entries until after the results were posted and I'd written mine? Only then did I realize that we had both had the same sort of idea! But, really, I am sucky at these things. Ari used to make the contests 100 word. Now, for some one who takes 1,000 words just to warm up to a story, that was torture! I definitely gotta learn the "less is more" thing.

Jaen, I'm happy to hear the fires are lessening up. Usually it's California that's getting all the brush fires, and it can put people a bit on edge, even if the fire is miles away. Where my mom lives (and I grew up) we used to have fires every 3rd year or so. More than once we would watch the flames coming down the hills towards our home, the air filled with soot and smoke, getting together everything for evacuation. It's not a fun thing to be anywhere near! Glad to hear you're okay. But, sorry to hear about your 'puter.

Okay, who did I forget? HT! How could I? HT, you are going to just have to be in my face more often! NO! Not that way! You know what I mean! I hate missing saying "hello" to people.

Ari, luv, take care of yourself, will ya? We all get worried around here when you are gone.

Speaking of which - when are you leaving for Central America? Is that at the end of this month? Or beginning of next month?

Feels mysterious pull back up to the Roof, to find Star's "challenge". Well, who can resist this?

Okay, and this is pretty daring - I think. And it's true. I was at work when I still had a boyfriend (that tells you how long ago this was!), and he called from LA and ask to meet me after work at a restaurant. Weellll, alrighty then! I got to feelin' pretty frisky, so I thought - what better? During afternoon break, I went to the ladies room and took off my bra and panties. Now, trying to find something to stash these items in AND then "sneak" them back to my cubie without anyone seeing them, that was the trick! But I went the rest of the day at work without any undies. Although it was impossible for anyone to tell (well, maybe they could with my breasts, who knows?), I felt very naughty!

When I got to the restaurant, I felt so exposed! I arrived before he did, and it's a rather avant garde place, lots of actors, musicians, artists, so you sit on couches and huge chairs, rather than tables and chairs. I was gettin' SO excited, and then he showed up - with 2 other couples in tow! They'd decided it would be fun to "hang" with us. All f**king night!! AND they had driven him down here! So here I am, all hot an bothered, not wearing any undies, and nothing going on! (I would have told him then, but I was so pissed I waited until the next day - let HIM get hot and bothered without being able to do anything about it! Ha!)

Good evening, all!

Turk, something to wake me up...coffee, or maybe just the grinds.

So, here i sit at my computer wearing a bright orange t-shirt and mismatched red shorts with my hair in pigtails sporting flowers from my parents' garden, and on my face is a heart, a sun, and the words CAMP ROCKS. Thank god no one can see me. It was "Carnival Day" at camp and I always get way too into the spirit of things. It was terribly humid and my facepaint started to run. I had to fix it five times in three hours. Then, I get to my car and start the 35 minute drive home and there is no air conditioning! It just all of a sudden decided not to work for me. So, I am driving down the highway with my windows rolled all the way down, my pigtails slapping me in the face, and people looking at the freaky girl. Then, to top it off, my paycheck flew out my window. I am ready for a nap, but if i do, I will be up at night.

So then I come home to read through the challenge between Star and Chele, and think...damn...can't really participate when you work with disabled teens whose hormones are raging. LOL....oh well, maybe I'll join the challenge when I get back in my classroom this fall. The students would love that...haha.

Kit, my opinion is, keep the chipmunk--lose the birds. I can't stand birds...please, no one hit me for that. They shit all over my porch and i have to clean it twice a day or more in the spring and summer. Plus, they nest in my eaves where i can hear them scratching around and chirping when i want peace and quiet.

I don't see that the thread has to be posted to every single day, besides everyone has commitments in RW and other threads. Sometimes it better to contemplate a while - there is a lot of action due to start and its' a pretty complicated plot, but it should be fun.

Life without possibility of parole... I honestly can't say that I've ever been more vengeful than when looking into his eyes when the appellate court passed the decision... I visit him every other day. If only for that time, as God is my witness, he will remember her. There was a little twist to the sentencing, compliments of yours truly of course. He and I are to exchange letters, once per week he is to spend no less than 10 minutes of constant writing.

I know this is a run and jump post, I do miss you all. I hope to be back soon, just been working very hard lately, obviously. You all be good while I'm gone.

While my husband & I were dating, we worked at the same company, me in the offices & he in the fab shop. I made frequent trips to the shop as part of my routine. I used to torment us both by wearing stockings & garters, sans panties, of course, with my short skirts and high heels. Ahhh those were the days.
