Lorelei

She had always been a loner throughout school as far back as she could remember. She never truly fit into any of the typical cliques. Now a writer a d even more of a loner she had unfortunately promised perhaps her only friend throughout school that she would attend the 20 yr reunion. Arriving she realized why she was barely what you would call acquaintances with most of the people in the rented banquet hall. Shayla motioned her over. Perhaps one of if not her only friend throughout school. Shayla could mingle with and get along with anyone. Shayla was busy talking with a couple of guys. She suspected they were husband's of actual students till Shayla introduced them. Lorelei couldn't believe it when Shayla called them by name. The duo who seemed to run most of the less common school teams... Martial arts... Gymnastics and the expected football.

Shayla just called this stunning woman over and it's Lore? No fucking way... Gods she hasn't changed at all... Still so real so... Lore. It's asinine looking back we had let ego and rep prevent us from the focus of our dreams back then. Lore was a mystery that most didn't have the guts to solve. However now we are not stupid kids... Easy wasn't what we wanted... They were still all around us. Even more so now in this room since our bank accounts matched our former highschool egos. Nope... We wanted real and we were willing to share it... Maybe?

----------------------

Shayla knew exactly who she was looking for when she dragged Lore to the reunion. She knew Lore would love two men together... Hell at least a third of her books ended up that way and she knew just who she needed to make sure Lore saw. Shayla knew they both liked Lore back then but pathetic school hierarchy didn't exactly have a place for Lore to fit in but now... Shayla was going to play mat blamed.

Hey guys... You will never believe who I got to show up. Wait here...

LORE! Come here you have to see who I just found.

Lore sighed and walked over..

Geez Shayla. Would you be any more loud and obnoxious... Who....

She paused...

Hey guys... Been a long time...

Rob / Eric

Rob and Eric had been best friends since middle school football camp. As the standout quarterback and wide receiver of the group they naturally gravitated toward each other and instantly developed a strong bond. It wasn't until freshman year of high school that it became apparent that the bond was based on more than shared athletic ability.

Throughout high school they managed to keep their secret under wraps. Though attitudes were changing for the better they'd grown to enjoy the status that their leadership position in the class had afforded them so revealing their secret was never an option for them. The fact that both Rob and Eric enjoyed the company of women equally as well helped to avoid suspicion falling on them but it was a double edged sword when the inevitable jealousies arose.

It was a pattern that repeated itself throughout college. Each of them occasionally dating various girls but the jealousies and unwillingness to commit inevitably doomed the relationships early on. Perhaps it was for the best they told themselves as their love for each other grew stronger.

With their 20 year high school reunion upon them, Eric and Rob found themselves in completely different circumstances. The tech startup that Rob had founded had gone public providing them a financial windfall while Eric had become a prominent architect entrusted with some of the largest and most extravagant buildings around. With the world at their feet they'd long since stopped hiding who they were and were both looking forward to letting their truth be known at the reunion.

Seeing Lore for the first time in 20 years they both stood in awe when she approached. With her being the dark, artistic type in high school she never ran in the same circles as them but they'd both noticed her. On several occasions, at parties, they'd even tried to hook up with her but inevitably their friends would pull them away making it practically impossible.

"Hey! Look at you! You look fabulous!" Rob said as he approached her and gave her a bit hug. "You remember Eric right?"

Eric stepped forward, lifting her hand to his lips then kissing it as his other hand slipped around Rob's waist. "It so good to see you. We've been following your career and love your work." he gushed as his he lowered her hand but didn't release it.

The paintings and sculptures pay the bills but I highly doubt either of you have read any of the books?

Lore smiled seeing the public display of the secret she had known long ago.

It's good to see you both... happy.

Her phone buzzed and she sighed looking at it.
I swear my agent has a 6th sense for when I am actually having a life for a moment. Shutting down the call and turning off her phone she smirked.

He'll get over it.

"You seem so sure." Eric interjected when she expressed her doubt. "I bet there's probably a lot about us that you thought you were sure about." A coy grin stretched across his lips just before she casually acknowledged that they were together and expressing none of the surprise he'd seen from the rest of the class.

With Lore's attention directed toward her phone Eric and Rob exchanged glances, each of them with a quick grin before she tapped the screen of her phone then returned her attention to them.

"So that wasn't your boyfriend then?" Rob asked. As one of only a handful in the class who'd become notable, he'd followed her enough to know that she'd never married but it seemed absurd that she wasn't at least seeing someone.

Nope... but if you have read my books I would be surprised that either of you would be interested in Reverse Harem... or fated mates shifters or mmf?

Her brow raised with a smirk.

As for what I believe I know from back then... you might be surprised

Rob glanced over at Eric and the both grinned at each other again as if there was an inside joke she’d just stumbled onto.

“Well I have to admit it wasn’t a genre we would have naturally been drawn to but when you know an author you tend to want to support and read them. The fact that what we read was hot as hell is another thing entirely.” Rob said as he eyed her, wondering just how much she lived her work.

“Let’s just say you fueled some fantasies shouldn’t be a surprise to you.” Eric added smiling at her also.

Not at all... that's the whole point...

So beyond fantasizing over my books what have you two been up to?

She sipped the wine and relaxed a little more.

They’d been at the reunion long enough to have listened to more than their share of classmates boasting about how great their life was. Each seeming more desperate than the last to convince them their life was everything they’d dreamed of 20 years ago. It was all so transparent and sad. Other than showing people who they were, Eric and Rob didn’t feel like they had to prove anything to anybody so when Lore asked what they’d been up to they weren’t about to go on and on about themselves.

“We’re living down on Wells Lake. Rob runs a small tech company and I do architecture. Like everyone else, not a lot outside of work and everyday life.” Eric said, leaving out the more extravagant aspects of their life. It was a habit for them now, after meeting so many people that took advantage of their generosity, to not flaunt their success. Those that mattered didn’t care and those that cared didn’t matter.

“What about you? Living the jet set life of a famous artist? That has to be exciting!” Eric asked as he reached out and grasped her elbow excitedly.

Oh yeah... living out of hotels and suitcases 5 months out of the year is a riot...

She rolled her eyes. Then back to the cabin up towards Midnight falls to write... and be treats supplier for two fairly spoiled pits.

"Yeah, being on the road can be tough." Rob said being able to empathize from the amount of traveling he did meeting with prospective clients when he was getting his company off the ground.

"Oh, I love this song! Let's dance." Eric said excitedly as they started to play a mix of dance music from back in their high school days. Eric grabbed Lore's hand and dragged her out to the dance floor with Rob following close behind. "The takes me all the way back." he yelled out over the music as he leaned into Lore and started to move to the music. As he did, Rob stepped in behind her, putting a hand on both hips and danced behind her.

She enjoyed dancing between them. Tossing her head back smiling as they danced. Once the song was over she was reluctant to leave the dance floor.

As Eric and Rob danced with Lore between them, they exchanged knowing glances. They'd been together long enough that they didn't need to say it. They both wanted her and they were determined to make it happen.

"Come on, a couple more." Rob said, his hand falling to hers and grasping it as she turned to leave the dance floor.

"Yeah, unless both of us is too much for you." Eric chimed in, challenging her a little.

Sounds good.

She smiled as the next song started up and continued to dance with them. Ignoring what all their classes snooty little prom queen had to say when she walked over to attempt to get her claws into one of the guys and talk down about all the "weird and twisted art and insanely vulgar smut and trash" the class freak created. Intermingled with reminding the guys of all the fun they had all had back then. Such a pity Stephy had peaked in High School and now was 2 divorces 3 kids into the real world trying to find her next country club dream.

Eric did his best to ignore Stephy when she approached them on the dance floor. Though they ran in the same crowd back in school she represented the absolute worst of the kind of pretentiousness that they’d vowed never to be a part of again.

“We’ll catch up with you later.” He said, trying to get across that now wasn’t the time before turning his back to her then sliding his hand up Lore’s side.

Leaning in close to her he whispered into her ear. “I think we’ve had about enough of these people. Wanna get out of here?” He asked as his hand wrapped around her waist.

Oh yeah... Shayla dragged me.to this thing anyways let's go.

Lore would be extatic to get out of there and away from that place.

Where to?

“What about back to our place? We used a car service since we were going to have some drinks. You’re welcome to ride back and we can get your car later.” Rob said, hoping Lore wouldn’t mind being locked in with them for the evening.

We could do that.

She smiled and walked with them towards the door.

Let's go.

Rob led the other two out and to the car that was waiting for them.

“This is us.” He said, opening the door letting Eric climb in first. He waited for Lore to climb in behind them then slid into the seat on her other side.

“I’m really glad we ran into you tonight.” Rob said as the car started to pull away and he turned toward her. Stretching his arm across the headrests he found Eric’s arm already draped there from the other side.

As if it were a choreographed routine each other free hands landed on Lore’s thighs as they leaned in to kiss her neck.

Her hands rested on their hands as she leaned her head back her eyes closing at the feeling of their lips.

Well now...

She purred

Eric glanced up to see the eyes of the driver peering at them then darting away once they made eye contact. Placing a finger on Lore's chin Eric tilted her head towards him, pressing his lips to hers as Rob's lips moved the back of her neck. The slow advance of their hands found them slipping beneath the hem of her dress as they each pulled a thigh to the side, parting them.

Her hands move to rest on their thighs as she kissed Eric and enjoyed the feeling of their hands and lips. Lost in the sensual pleasure of it all a soft moan slithered out of her into the kiss.

Throughout the short drive back to their house things got progressively heated with Rob and Eric took turns feeling the warmth of her lips against theirs and caressing her body.

"This is us." Rob said as the car pulled to a stop in front of their house. The driver exited then rounded the car to let them out, giving the men a knowing smile as they passed then disappeared inside.

Walking in with them she looked around with a smile.

Lovely...

Almost in instinct she looked around for any pets. Way too used to her two pits bounding from anywhere for attention.
