Responding to Comments

The problem being that some (I stress some) guys don’t see us that way.
I’m sure this isn’t what you meant, but, by responding to “treat her like a person” with that, it makes it sound like some other guys’ bad behavior is a problem which tars and feathers the ones who do treat women like people.

Is it really the case that hearing from any guy at all is a problem, because some of them give problems?

Neither a yes nor a no would surprise me, tbh, I’m just wondering.

I was planning to do both, respond in the comments but also send a response to the person individually. I don’t think it’s stalkery at all, I just didn’t want to have to do it if I didn’t have to. Thanks so much!
@KikiKisses, et al,
I don't think that responding to a comment in private communication is any problem. If someone is kind enough to leave a well formed, and well meant, comment using their user name then I think a private "Thank you" is perfectly acceptable since they didn't make their comment "Anonymous".

Either way, "Commenting" on the comment, or a private "Thank you" is polite and civilised.
Just my thoughts.
Respectfully,
D.

As a guy, I'm probably more cautious about coming across that way.
@cw5523729, et al,
There are, unfortunately, a number of males who see Literotica as some sort of "sex chat" line. The way to avoid that is use proper wording carefully considered in your PM's. If you "give" the impression you're a sex starved welp looking for attention then yes, it will come across that way. However, if you use neutral, appreciative and communicative language you won't be seen that way. If you're responding to a female reply as if you were talking to a maiden aunt who just gave you a nice sweater for your birthday, if replying to a male pretend they are a favourite old uncle and you want to stay in the will!

As @KikiKisses said, "just treat her like a person".

Treating everyone as you would like to be treated yourself works a lot of the time, unless you're a raving sadomasochistic BDSM addict!
Respectfully, always,
D.

Wait, are you saying if someone likes my story enough they might write me into their will?!

My car's been acting up lately. I could sure use a 1992 Lincoln with fuzzy seat covers if any grandpas out there are feeling generous.

Speaking of - even know the purpose of this site, I rarely click on the WHAT'S NEW button above to see all those threads outside of AH without going "WTF...?"
