Trump is now officially under criminal investigation in both Georgia and New York.
For the rest of my life, I don't want to ever hear another Republican lecture anyone about law and order, family values or morality. The Party of Trump has lost all credibility on those matters!
I heard Mike was sleeping on the sofas at his friends' houses. He's that afraid to go to his own home.
Speaking with host Abby Phillip on Sunday morning, former Rep. Charlie Dent (R-PA) said the Republican Party is likely to descend into turmoil following the end of Donald Trump's impeachment trial as the various factions with the party battle with each other over the future of the post-Trump party.

According to Dent, the GOP is in "a really bad spot."
Jumping off from comments made by former Trump administration official Nikki Haley throwing the ex-president under the bus in a bombshell Politico interview, Dent complimented her for pointing out the elephant in the room.
A massive winter storm system hit Texas and Oklahoma this weekend, leading to serious traffic accidents and power outages. In response, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) begged President Joe Biden's administration for help for his state.

This prompted questions from those who wondered why Texas officials turned to the federal government and the existing president when they were attacking him in weeks previously.
The Texas secession bill was announced in January and the Texas Republican Party endorsed the secession bill.
Texas Republicans mocked after begging Biden for help: 'Didn't Texas want to secede?'
Use some of that budget surplus to help out Texans, dip shit. Oh right, you're in the hole aren't you?![]()
-- which was the first time they interacted with him during the 18 years they've lived next to each other.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said on Wednesday that he opposes extending unemployment and providing $1,400 COVID relief checks for Americans because people may decide not to go back to work.
During an appearance on Fox News, host Martha MacCallum posed the question to McConnell.
"Do you think the checks that are going out -- you know, there's some unemployment benefits, additional benefits that would run out in March -- do you believe that these checks prevents some people from wanting to work?" McCallum asked.
"Well, there is a concern," McConnell replied, "about making it more advantageous to stay home rather than going back to work."
Former vice president Mike Pence broke his silence on the Jan. 6 insurrection aimed at overturning his election loss.
"The tragic events of Jan. 6 — the most significant being the loss of life and violence at our nation's Capitol — also deprived the American people of a substantive discussion in Congress about election integrity in America," Pence wrote.
The former vice president pointed out that elections are governed at the state level, and argued that the proposed For the People Act would invite fraud by requiring universal mail-in ballots and other measures aimed at increasing access to voting.
"Congress will vote this week on HR 1, the so-called For the People Act, a massive 800-page election overhaul bill that would increase opportunities for election fraud, trample the First Amendment, further erode confidence in our elections, and forever dilute the votes of legally qualified eligible voters," Pence wrote.
Republican state legislatures have responded to Trump's election loss by imposing new restrictions on voting, and Pence said they've got the right idea.
"Polling shows that large numbers of Democrats did not trust the outcome of the 2016 election and that large numbers of Republicans still do not trust the outcome of the 2020 election," he wrote
"Leftists not only want you powerless at the ballot box, they want to silence and censor anyone who would dare to criticize their unconstitutional power grab," he added.
Something strange happened in Congress last night that may tag three Republican members with an ethics violation.
The House held an overnight session so that they could avoid the U.S. Capitol amid the fears of another attack on the building from militia members and conspiracy theorists.
Punchbowl News' John Bresnahn explained that during a vote for HR 1280: The George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2021, Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) cast a vote for the bill. His Republican colleagues freaked out, saying that it needed to be changed. Three of them protested, attempting to change the vote in with the Tally Clerk.
When members vote they have a card they can insert into voting stations and cast their vote. If they want to change their vote they can do so at any time, but if they want to change the vote in the last five minutes of the count, they have to go to the Tally Clerk and take a "red card," sign it, and hand it to the Clerk. At no point did Gooden use the red card option, but three other Republicans attempted to, signing Gooden's name to it.
Former President Donald Trump issued a 700-word statement on Thursday complaining about Fox News analyst Karl Rove.
"Karl Rove has been losing for years, except for himself," Trump began.
"Karl Rove's voice on Fox is always negative for those who know how to win. He certainly hasn't helped Fox in the ratings department, has he?" Trump asked.
"Never had much of a feeling for Karl, in that I disagreed with so many of the things he says. He's a pompous fool with bad advice and always has an agenda. He ran the campaign for two Senators in Georgia, and did a rotten job with bad ads and concepts. Should have been an easy win, but he and his friend Mitch blew it with their $600 vs. $2,000 proposal. Karl would be much more at home at the disastrous Lincoln Project. I heard they have numerous openings!" he wrote.
