Rejected story - but it is not my story

Hello, I wondered if anyone can shed some light on what has recently happened. I submitted a story which has been rejected (for some punctuation problems), but the story which is in my submission is not the one I submitted! It is completely different.

Any idea what will have happened to my original story? I do have a copy of the original but I made a few last minute updates when I saw the preview, and I don't have copies of those updates.

Is there any way of getting my story back?

I've had the wrong story posted by the Web site under my title before too. In this case, I think I'd just try submitting your original again. It's unlikely the error will strike the same story twice--and you'll just get into a lot of toing a froing if you get into a message exchange with Laurel. If it was rejected, there won't be a problem of duplicate titles and compounded rejections.

I'd suggest sending a private message to Laurel and/or Manu. That sounds like something really got messed up.
