Looking for an editor.

I wrote a short Story and sent it in.
They rejected it due to punctuation. I reworked it to the best of my ability, and re-submitted it.
They still rejected it for dialog punctuation. My choices are forget it and move on, try to rework the dialog again, or work with an editor.
So in short, I need your help.
The story is currently in pages, but a pages document will transfer over to MS Word.
Please help....

Thank you for replying to my request.
It is currently 2,527 words long. It is about a young girl who answers a ad for a massage parlor, and it turns out that the places for happy endings. In the story, there was one scenario with male nudity and a hand job.
I submitted it and it got rejected for dialogue punctuation. I did the best I could to rework it and resubmitted. It got rejected again for the same reasons I could really use an editor at this point thank you for replying to my request.

I'm having this same issue...have reached out to 4 editors via the process online but no replies from anyone? The rejection says I need to learn how to make characters talk? I have 10 stories here and several with same type dialog with no issues previously? Anyone help?

Hummm just last week I had the same problem. I was good without that problem for about 1-2 months. Anyway, I went back through my story. There were dialog errors and I cleaned them up and it was published. Go through your story the best you can. Chat gpt can also fix errors, just paste the non x rated stuff and ask for a fix In punctuation. Best of luck…

Thank you for your reply...it gives me a little hope! I found 2 misplaced commas and resubmitted it, and told her that I had reached out 4x to ve's with no reply. We shall see...

Fixed the two commas I had accidentally added after " and reposted along with explanation that I had reached out to ve's and no reply...published last night. Thanks for the advice!
