HI All.

I had posted a submission (Non-consensual, about rape) which was (correctly) rejected on the grounds of bestiality. That was just a sinle-line in the conclusion of the story.

I deleted the line, made corrections and re-submitted. It was rejected again on grounds of bestiality. I have re-read the submission several times and find no mention explicit or implicit of beasts, mysthical or real, so what could be the problem?

Your thoughts on this would greatly help.

Thanks,

Cham

I think your safest bet is to send it to a VE (Volunteer Editor) to make sure you aren't reading what you want and not what's on the page. Then, and only then if the editor comes back with a clean bill of health I'd suggest you resubmit with a note in the comment box saying an editor took a look at it and there isn't any bestiality anywhere.

Good luck :)

Thanks, that's an excellent suggestion. If there are any VEs reading this I would appreciate your help.

I'm one :D but my editing plate is so full I don't know if I should cry or laugh.....but I'm sure someone else will come along and give you the help you need.

I just did an edit for him. Hopefully I did well :)

I didn't find anything but the line at the end of the story, but I made a comment about that again. I'm not sure if he left it in by accident.

Hi Jen,

Thanks very much for the thoughtful edit. I appreciate it.

Rest assured I sent you the wrong version of the file; thus the unfortunate last line :)

Thanks once again,

Cham
