Hey, I have submitted a story that's been rejected twice on formatting grounds.
I have been told how to fix this and it seems pretty straightforward... however, after two fails I'm a little shy on the draw.
The story is written in verse, in iambic pentameter, although modern English. I am keen to keep this in the story section and not cross over into poetry. I am planning to put it in a series because of the nature of the story... it's a prologue that will go on to include approximately 16 subsequent scenes.
Anyone who might like to help me, it would be highly appreciated. I don't think I will need more than one editor. I'm mostly interested in making sure the formatting for the site is correct. (I've been told to use "<br>" line breaks.) Still, if there's a word spelled wrong, or my meter is off, that's also good to know.
I can send on the version that was rejected, or reformat it as best I can first, and provide that version for an edit. Either way is fine with me.
Thanks for any interest / assistance.
