However, bumping a thread that's full of great advice and resources still irks me. The OP could find a ton of info and ideas by exploring the links, searching the board, and using Google, but maybe that's too much work.

I wouldn't worry about it that much. The guy in the thread that I linked had some partially inaccurate info and when the ladies started correcting him and relating their experiences, he got pissy.

Don't assume that you know everything there is to know about sex, no matter how much you've seen, read, etc. Also, don't assume that you're lousy in bed because a woman doesn't have an orgasm the first time, or every time.

I think that's very true. It's a balancing act between caring that she cums and pressuring her to cum. While it shows you are a sensitive lover if you communicate with her and put the effort forth to make her have an orgasm, asking every 5 minutes "did you cum yet?" can be quite a turnoff.

The best approach is probably to just have fun. Even if she doesn't have a full on orgasm, the fact that you made more of an attempt than just sticking it in will mean something. I think sometimes we get too hung up on goals in sex. I know I do at times.
