Multiple Story Uploads on same day

Hi - wonder if anyone can help with a query I have. I'm currently writing one story but from 3 different POVs. My intention is for each POV to be uploaded as a separate story on the same day with a header advising the potential reader they may wish to exercise caution over which story they read first. The reader may just to just read one side of the story, two sides or even all 3. But obviously the order in which they read may influence their take on the story as a whole. The question is - can multiple stories get uploaded on the same day. Is the Note to Admin box the place for this? Any tips/guidance is appreciated.

From my experience even if you have several accepted stories they set the publish dates 24 hours apart. I'm not sure if you can request to change this or not. I assume it's to keep fresh content constantly coming onto the site every morning/day/evening or whenever to content cycle updates.

Thank you for the response. If true then my whole plan goes out the window:(. Never mind. Thank you again.

my whole plan goes out the window
Why does the plan absolutely depend on same day publishing?

And if there's a good reason for it, why not just put all three narratives into one story with three well marked sections?

You can even put a table of contents at the beginning so it's not a surprise what the structure is.

Hi - The reason for the approach is because potentially the story will be a long one. Placing all part three sides to the story in one could mean a 30 page story. Instantly that will turn off some readers. But by giving the reader a choice on which character's story to focus on initially will give the reader an option. If they like the one-sided version and want to see the same story knowing the outcome already but from a different perspective they can. (Kind of the Rashomon Effect I've subsequently learnt). If they don't then so be it. It's just something I'd like to try as an experiment if anything. To see which story gets the most views and to find out via comments if any readers read more than 1 side. Was their perception changed by reading a certain side first etc etc. It would be interesting to see whether there was a pattern. Obviously this wouldn't be anything scientific but just to try something new that's all.

By having the story staggered on separate days would push the reader down whichever side is published first.

I do like your idea of the table of contents so potentially I could include all three sides in one story chapter with a header explaining to the user to use their preference as to which part they read first but until I've written it in full (all three sides) I won't know which approach would suit better.

Hope this makes sense.

You can request that all three stories are published on the same day in the note box for each one. A warning, such requests are not always acted upon. I’d also PM Laurel with the IDs of each story making the same request.

I'm not sure I'm convinced of the value. Even if you do get them all published on the same day, they're still going to be in a particular order. I don't know how you would communicate to a reader that (A) they're related and (B) they should choose which one they would like to read first and (C) how they would make that choice.

OK let me explain further. All 3 stories will have similar titles (e.g. The Tale of ABC - Albert, The Tale of ABC - Bethany, The Tale of ABC - Carl (not the real titles of course), to hopefully alert the reader that they are linked even if they are placed out of order. Each story will be also be prefaced with text advising the reader that the story is from 1 viewpoint only and that 2 other viewpoints exist. Care should be taken as to which viewpoint the reader wishes to read first as their reaction to that story may influence their view of the second/third viewpoints if they choose to read them. I'm just looking to try something a bit different that's all. It may fall flat on its face, it may not. But nothing ventured, nothing gained.
