That is freaking insane! That must have been hours!
What did you do? That a thick round pan and cut it in half?

Looks nice RED. My mom has talents like that, although she uses them less now. I grew up in a creative household. I can cook / bake but just don't have the urge to do so most days. For just myself? Eh, I'd rather pay someone to do it for me. I was saying to a friend over dinner tonight that if I had the money, I'd eat out almost every day unless I wanted something specific.

I like chocolate cake IF it is the thick slab, stop a bullet and inch-thick frosting type. I don't generally like "fluffy" cakes. My favorite is a carrot cake with a buttercream (not cream cheese) frosting. But again - thick and heavy, not the froo-froo ones some places serve.
I try not to overdo desserts though, keeping my sugars down.

I'm the reverse. Not a big fan of a cake without some kind of topping. The only "froo froo" cake I like is the Jello Cake I mentioned because of the flavors and all. I don't even much care for brownies if they don't have what we in Canada call "icing".

Personally I am not a frosting fan. Last time I was hospitialized, it was Mother's Day and my Birthday. My spouse made my cake for me and brought it to the hospital, where we celebrated. But my one request was 1/2 the cake frosted, 1/2 not. Up to that point I'd never gotten my request of a non-frosted cake before.![]()
What? Omg. I LOVE frosting. Except when I make it from scratch. Then I have a hard time consuming it as gleefully as I do not knowing the ingredients.
I love strawberry shortcake and my mom would make that for me on occasion. I also used to like this Cherry Cake (it's pink) but it's hard to find now. Had bits of Maraschino cherries in the mix. I lovveeee Sara Lee's banana cake and every so often (maybe once a year or a bit less) I will try to find one in a store. It usually doesn't last too long and I keep it partially frozen. I have always liked it that way.

In the 1970's, when I went to high school, strawberry perfume and shampoo was all the rage. About half the girls in my class wore it and it turns my stomach to this day. Now they wouldn't let you into the building with it smelling that strong.
An aroma I love is orange - almost anything orange. I used to have an orange shampoo but can't find it anymore.

It's the leaning cake of St. Patrick! Lol!

Yes, I've used that soap as well - can't remember the name of it, but I like it. It's slightly gritty, I think there may be pumice in it.

I believe that pumice is the only rock that does float.
I used to use a facial cleanser called "Snap" when I had acne as a kid. It took off a lot of skin but also did some of the work intended.

Wow - of all the things you could've kept since your teens and you chose a rock?

I have a small box of things I've kept, that's one of the few.I have several things but I am a pack rat. I am going to try and change that this spring.
Whenever that shows up.
