I am not against rednecks. I grew up in redneck country and Some of my best friends are lifelong members. When I lived up north I was called that and I took pride in it..but!!!!

There is a certain type that seems to love firecrackers...no lights, just noise....some just down the street from me have been seting them off all day while I have been trying to work and keep up with lit at the same time...it's just getting annoying!

No need to respond, just spouting

whoooo Eeeeee Look at that one bubba.. It blowed up reaaaallll good..
I know what you mean Rambling although I am a redneck myself fireworks bug the hell out of me too.

BOOM!

I'm a very small town boy lost in the big city, where our mayor banned the Chinese from using them for religious purposes at the New Year. It used to be so much fun to stroll down Mott Street, through 16 inches of curb-to-curb red paper, while devotees haioled their ancestors by dropping long strings on our heads. I miss it in my left-libertarian fashion.

It's not the firecrackers that get me but those ear drum bursting nuclear blasts.

Heart attack inducing stuff...

I don't know the song but I've now got a damned tune in my head playing over and over again that fits the words...
