Well, for my job, there's definitely something better, just about anything actually. Only downside is that where I work now is about a 15 minute drive away, and it's pretty much the closest thing to me.

I hear ya... it only takes me 12 mins on a good day to get to work... anything else is gonna take 20-30. And I'm in the same boat... definitely something better... even fast food.... but I'm NOT going there!

Ironically enough, I work in fast food, unfortunetly. I hate it, but it was the only thing available when my car was... less than legal shall we say.

Well, I had no insurance, no legal tags or title, and plates from a different state. Oh yeah, and no license.

when we lived in the "BIG CITY" near here drive times were 20 - 30 min now that we moved to the country and drive times are long its worth it once home

even tho there's money in the register to do it.

I bust my ass ... work the most overtime hours, work the most fucked up schedule, but the one time I ask to cash my check there... I'm told no, I have to come back later. Fuck that... I spend enuf time there. Grrrrrrr!!!

This is the kinda crap that makes the decision when I DO get another job offer of telling them to fuck off and NOT give em a 2 week notice.
