Its always nice to be in a place like Lit where you can talk about things like that and not be thot a freak. Most of my friends/co-workers would have nothing to do with me if they knew some of the things I've done or think or write.

Would you quit your current job (NO NOTICE)for a better paying job (2 more dollars/hr) if the new job had you workiing only one shift consistantly instead of jumping around from 1sts, 2nds, and 3rds???? Knowing it will leave people working 7 days a week til the boss (who I like) hires someone?

I may be in that dilema tomorrow if I get the job offer I think I'm going to get.

The new job wouldn't have the asshole ex bf working there either.

What ever you do, do not burn any bridges. I worked in healthcare in the third/fourth largest city. We all worked together over the years.

Companies do not care about you, even with a great boss. Do what is best for you, not the company. That is what they would do when it came time for layoffs, what is best for them.

I have busted my ass for eight companies, only to be laid off. I will do it again too. Sounds like your decision is made. Put in your two weeks and move to a job more fitting to your lifestyle?

Well, I didn't get the job offer I hoped. I don't wanna burn bridges, but the company I wanted to get on with, well the last time I applied, I went in for an interview on a Thursday and they wanted me to start the next day. I had on my application I was going to give my current employer 2 weeks notice, so I didn't take the job. A lot of crap has happened at my current job that next time I may just burn that bridge. This weekend I worked Sat morning 1st shift, came back after only 2 hours sleep and worked 3rd shift, and then worked 2nd shift on Sunday. I just woke up an hour ago from catching up on sleep.

When the time comes for me to make that decision, I guess I'll make whatever decision is gonna keep me the sanest.

Sorry you did not get the job. I must admit, I worry when someone wants you to start the next day. If they do not respect you or your employer for proper notice, then they will not give you any respect either. However, working shifts with no sleep is dangerous!!!!!! Just draw your limits for safety first.

Atleast it keeps you out of trouble. Sorry to hear that too.

I used to have it on DVD... but lost it and the rest of my movies when I was on the road. Will be replacing it SOON, as a birthday present to myself in a couple of weeks. lol What else am I supposed to do with all the overtime money I get?

That sucks about loseing your movies. As for your overtime money, well, I suppose that would be up to you.
