Reasons why I refuse to run for President

All immigrants must learn passable English in a year or they get deported.

Waterboarding is torture and therefore against the law. Everybody involved will face prosecution from the highest to the lowest. As an United States Soldier it is incumbent upon them to refuse unlawful orders. No excuses.

Geisha were not prostitutes or courtesans. They were generally hostesses and entertainers, and they were often forbidden from having sex with their clients. The conflation of geishas with prostitutes or escorts come from post-war American servicemen, who called the hookers "geisha girls".

Look it up anywhere reliable. Geisha were not prostitutes, ever. Some prostitutes may have dressed as geisha, but they were not true geisha.

In ancient Japan Geisha were entertainers for Samurai who were the ruling caste in Japan which included sex but at her discretion.

I do not recall which Shogun it was that took a direct hand in Geisha activities and he divided them into classes. The situation was much like today after the youth and beauty was used up they were cast aside. He set up a culture that allowed skilled Geisha to remain and be valued for their artistry. However, becoming a patron for Geisha this Shogun changed that as he used the Geisha world for info on potential threats. Due to his involvement Geisha changed into what it is today.

That's all true, but they were not geisha, but oiran. They were predecessors of the geisha, and courtesans.
