Deena,or Dee to her friends, stood outside the club entrance, her eyes watching people enter in groups. Her hands fidgeted with the tight red corset her friend Sierra had urged her to wear. Her black leather mini-skirt hugging her curved hips tightly. Her body was slightly rounded, not the slender beauty that Sierra was. Always watching her weight when Sierra could eat anything she wanted. Dee took a deep breath and slid her hands through her waist length black hair, running her lips across the fake fangs for the Halloween party inside.

She paid her cover and walked into the dimly lit bar area, the dance floor was jumping to the beat of the band. Even the band members were dressed all out, some had the black eyes and fangs, others were sporting fur across their bodies. Not overly so but enough to give the impression of a wolf, she was nudged as she tried to get to the bar, looking around for Sierra. Her friend was not to be seen, though it was like her to be late. She always had to make an entrance.

Dee moved to the bar and ordered a beer and looked around. She was met by eyes of others as they traveled over her outfit, making her a bit self concious. the bass player in the band caught her eye, flashed a fanged grin and winked. Dee felt herself burst into a heated blush as she looked over her shoulder as if to see if he was winking at someone behind her. There wasnt anyone there, she kept her eyes away from him as she moved to a table in the back. Little did she know that these were not costumed people around her, halloween let everyone there come out in true form wether it be vampire, lycan,or what not.

***looking for one guy to be that band member,a guy who appreciates her for who she is not what she is. Loves her extra curves and tries to get her alone. She will not believe he is a true vamp not even when she goes home with him...finally she has to come to terms with who and what she is when she gets pulled into his world. Send me an intro via IM must be at least a paragraph and can post once a week..looks and background up to cowriter. Thanks

Lazar had just a glimpse of her before the bridge. It was his moment to shine, and be blinded by the spotlight, as he made the bass thunder and pop while the drummer simply kept the beat and the rest of the band took a few seconds to catch their breath. They needed it, hopping around, trying to impress all the chicks the way they did.

When the bridge was over, and the singer and guitar player went back to fighting each other for attention, Lazar stepped back by the amps, resuming his habitual slouch ans his long, spidery fingers danced along the neck of his instrument. His eyes scanned the crowd, looking for the girl in the leather skirt. The one shaped like a woman, instead of a toothpick. The one almost spilling out of her corset as she sipped her beer.

He saw her looking his way and when he saw her fangs, he blinked. Then he reminded himself it was Halloween. He grinned, knowing she would think his fangs were plastic too, and then winked. He added a little flourish to the line, not that she'd probably hear it, but it couldn't hurt, and it was fun to see the moment of panic on the guitar player's face when he thought he might get upstaged.

Lazar was tall 6'2", and so lean that he looked even taller. His reddish hair spilled out from under the wide brimmed hat he still wore, and fell down his back and over his shoulders, almost to his elbows. Aside from the hat, he wore the black jeans he always wore, narrow black cowboy boots, and a blood red silk shirt. The shirt was unbuttoned, but never came off. His back had scars that belonged to other centuries, that he did not care to explain to the general public.

Dee looked up at the band as the bass player seemed to break into his own little solo. She had blushed when he had winked at her,her eyes followed his fingers as they slid across the strings as if a mind of their own. Something hauntingly beautiful filled her mind as she watched. She couldnt look away from him as he played. The sounds around her became faint until all she heard was him playing. Finally he stopped and she shook her head, looking aorund her she saw the rest of the club still going about their own thing.

"Damn,I must be losing it. I shouldnt even be here. I will kill Sierra for setting me up like this."She whispered to herself as she pulled self conciously at the corset only causing it to press her breasts up higher. Taking another drink of her beer she tried to look everywhere but the stage, she could feel his eyes on her even now.

She sat there for several minutes, until a drunk man knocked into her table. He mumbled apologies then looked down at her. She could see the instant lust in his expression as his eyes drank in her ample cleavage. She shifted trying to avoid his stare. He leaned closer, his whiskey coated breath almost gagged her as he spoke. "Now,why is a pretty like you sitting here all alone. I think you need some company."He slurred as he dropped down next to her,one arm dropping over her shoulders, his fingertips grazing the tops of her breasts.

She shoved at his arm, only making him laugh and squeeze closer to her. "get off of me."She hissed trying not to drawn anymore attention her way. Her hand tried to push his arm from her body,it was useless. She watched as he smiled, the fanged grin flashing in the bar lights. Great she thought to herself. I have someone wanting to play vampire pawing all over me. Little did she know it was not a costume, almost everyone in the club was in true form. Wether vamp, wolf or other. He then did something that really freaked her out,he leaned close and drew his tongue along her cheek and upper throat.

She jumped finally having enough of him groping and licking her,she shoved him hard. He fell from his chair onto the floor, glaring up at her. Heads turned and then the whispers comments began. She looked aaround her and suddenly felt as if everyone was watching her as the man stumbled to his feet suddenly he didnt appear drunk any longer as he growled at her. He actually growled at her as he moved towards her. She stepped back and then her body was stopped by another hard body behind her, slowly she turned her head when the advancing man stopped. Her eyes traveled upwards until she met the eyes of the bass player from the band standing there. He didnt look at her but at the toher man,no words were spoken as the man suddenly mumbled apologies and turned, melting back into the crowd.

Even Lazar had a hard time telling who was what on Halloween, in a crowded place like this. The buxom girl he had seen before seemed to disappear in the crowd, no great trick, in a place like this, he thought. The trouble was the place was full of demons, weres, vampires, mages, spirits and a slumming genie, unless it was a fae in harem pants, all milling around with the sheep, that it was hard to tell exactly what scent belonged to who unless you were up close and personal. Added to that the over-indulgence that went with the holiday, it was hopeless. Ecstasy made almost any aura glow like a succubus, and enough cocaine could make a human smell like wolf, never mind the general dimming of everything provided by alcohol. Lazar had made the mistake once of getting drunk off of a drunk's blood. Fun, but vampire's body's didn't process that stuff well.

The band finished their set and the others headed back to the dressing room to grab a bite, but Lazar mingled in the crowd. He drew a few eyes, but he slipped through the bodies too quickly for anyone to stop him. Then he spotted her, by the bar, sipping a drink, chatting up a flabby prick of a werewolf he knew from the old world. Not what he had hoped to find, but that was life, or undeath. He was just turning away, when a sudden move in the corner of his eye drew his attention back. The wolf was on his ass, looking fierce, almost ready to change, and the girl was on her feet.

He heard the growl, and saw the shudder of fear in her back, but he also saw her chin lift up, defiantly. Maybe he had been too quick to dismiss her. Maybe she had just drawn the dog's attention unintentionally. He slipped behind her, letting her scent tease his nostrils. All human, hardly even a trace of alcohol, and even a tolerable perfume. Definitely not the usual crowd, especially on Halloween. She backed into him, and looked up, but his attention was on the werewolf. Nothing Lazar hated more than a domesticated werewolf, trading in their bestial, wild nature to hunt the cities like sloppy vampires.

The dog growled again, but didn't come any closer. The proverbial tail went between his legs when he recognized Lazar, and he drew back. The change that had been close drifted back, and he retreated. He was French, after all.

Lazar looked down at the girl, who was looking up at him a little more shocked than she should have been. She shouldn't have been able to feel any of the little psychic snarling that had taken place, unless maybe she was just surprised to see him. He gave her a wry smile, and shrugged.

"Full moon, brings out all the crazies." Her smile was enough, or it would have been, if not for the display of cleavage. It was very hard to ignore such a sight, and knowing she was clean made the temptation too much to resist. "I shouldn't say this, but I don't care much for the next band's music. What do you think my chances of getting you to join me for a drink someplace quiet are?"

Dee stood there, her eyes wide as the man took one look at Lazar and left. What had she missed, she couldnt recall anything out of the ordinary. She turned and watched the man leave then looked back at Lazar, before nodding.
She let him lead her towards the entrance and noticed people seemed to move out of his way as he walked, and he didnt even speak to any of them. She turned and looked up at the stage as the next band prepared to play.she caught a glimpse of the singer of Lazar's band leaning against a large speaker watching them leave.

"I dont think your bandmate likes that you are leaving."She said as she reached out to touch his back to get his attention and gasped as she felt energy coarse through and up her arm. A flash of a young woman danced through her mind then was gone. What the hell had just happened she thought to herself. She almost ran into his back when he stopped and looked back to the stage.

She had the oddest feeling he was talking to his bandmate but yet she heard no words. Then they were heading out fo the club and into the chilly night, the sounds of the club quickly fading. " My name is Deena, but everyone calls me Dee."She said softly suddenly aware of the quiet, his looks and the way others walking around them avoided him. She pulled the fake fangs from her mouth and tossed them into a trashcan.

"My friend was supposed to meet me here for the Halloween party, but I never found her. I dont usually dress like this or come to clubs like this."She felt as if she were rambling on but it made her feel better than the quiet around them. She was also greatly aware of how much taller than she was.
