Reading list recommendations

Sorry I'm late, but I hope you have the time to read all the way down this thread to these.

Do step-siblings qualify as Incest? If not, I would suggest you read Lucid Ending. It's the best story I've written by miles.

I have recently written some lesbian stories. They have a lot more plot development than wham-bam sex. White Lies and How To Catch A Falling Star. I do have a single gay male story too. Unmasked and Exposed.

I also have a very unconventional Romance series going. It's not mushy. I think you'll quite enjoy Living with Katrina.

Finally, after your mood has been thoroughly dampened by the above stories, you can top it off with my humour series Black Sheep. If nothing else, it will make you giggle.

I got a PM from another author recommending Lucid Ending. I might give it a shot. I will definitely try Black Sheep. I love a good giggle.

Thanks for playing!

Let me add a couple to the list:

A Trip to Texas
Romance- Asshole boss, wife leaves. Go on vacation, what else.

Bare Back
EC- A mother and her two daughters have fun riding horses

Bound
BDSM- A heart shaped butt plug sealed the deal.

There are many more but enough already. ;)

Not sure if a series is in the works for you, but my current series based on a prequel to the show Sons of Anarchy might appeal to you. Drama, drugs, sex, crime, murder, revenge killing and more is in it, so it might have something you're looking for.. Look for Redwood Nine in the Celebrities category. There are 13 chapters for the first season and 7 out so far for the second.

Wow. Just wanted to say kudos to this. Most celeb category stuff is people's fantasies about a singular crush they have for someone famous, but this seems interesting as hell.

So, yeah read this one as well.

I thank you kindly for your response. It's true that Celebs is a tough category to be in, but I'm slowly, but surely gaining a following. I'm trying hard to stay true to the original backstory and fill in the ton of gaps they left in it.

Not sure if I'm getting it exactly the way K. Sutter intended the beginning to be, but readers are liking it. Some have said it's as compelling as the show, so that let's me know I'm on the right track.

I don't usually read series. Even with TV shows I tend to make it 3/4 of the way through a season before I miss too many episodes to keep up. I'm better with cable series because they usually replay the entire season once a week (and I have a tendency to fall asleep, so I always miss something). Sons of Anarchy is not one that I have seen, but I did see the ads for it. It looked good, so maybe I'll give your prequel a try.

Thanks for playing!

You fall asleep? What kind of insults are you laying on us here? Asking for our best stuff so we can put you to sleep? Sheesh! I thought Loving Wives had tough critics...

ETA: /sarcasm off

I sleep when the TV is on, silly! How it usually works is I fall asleep halfway through the new episode, so I have to watch when they replay it an hour or two later. By then, I've had a nap and I stay up way too late.

It's a vicious cycle.

Ty. :) Let me know what you think of it.

All caught up in the FAWCing

And still working in hubby's birthday story, but I will be reading and commenting soon. Thanks for your input. 36 hours 'til vacation! Woo hoo!

Aha!

Most of my stories are romantic-leaning and most have happy endings, but I don't think they're mushy. :)

For a longer one, I'd recommend "Rhythm & The Blue Line." It's a romance about a musician and a hockey player, and it's more about the relationship than the sex and I (hope) I have some humor in there as well.

For a couple of shorter ones, I'd recommend: "Who Cares What I Wear?" or "Unexpected Gifts."

The former is about a woman who is missing the man who left her, but there's a twist. The latter is a light-hearted Christmas romance, where I was having fun with some things and again, there's a little twist.

I just read the first installment if Rhythm and the Blue Line. I can see why everyone thinks that the hockey story is yours. Please tell me that Brody plays for the Flyers. I've hated them since 1972! (I'm a Bruins fan. We just have to be happy with second place this year.)

:)

I mean DON'T tell me he plays for the Flyers. I can handle the Pens though.

With the exception of incest your tastes are pretty even with mine. I also am not a fan of interracial, but my reasoning is I feel its demeaning the way the black man/white women sex is portrayed. Demeaning to both actually, but that's my take.

This one falls a little under mushy romance, but has a lot more plot than crazy sex

This one is under fetish, but foot, nothing way out there and has some humor in it.

This one is a lot of fun, a basic teacher/student fantasy, but with a little twist that is kind of a play on us here at literotica (the student writes erotic stories)

And this is just a fun group sex story with a decent mix of story and sex.

I just finished After School Special. I feel like I need a shower! ;-)

Good recommendation! Thanks!

2. I like surprises, especially a good surprise ending. (These don't always bring high ratings. I learned that the hard way.)

Tell me about it.

I always attempt to add something the reader don't expect or at least don't see cumming (snicker) right away. And if there's one thing Lit-readers generally don't like it's surprises - I learned that lesson very quickly.

Of course I've got no intention of changing my style - I write for fun, not for ratings - but still it's an interesting phenomenon. The fact that you apparently have encountered the same tells me that I need to put your work on my reading list. :)

My lowest rated story

Haha! My Reference is the story with the most evil twist. (But when I recategorized it in Gay Male, I went out of the way to spoil the surprise upfront, lest I subject one more set of eyes to the hideous shock of a man being subjected to the kind of treatment women sometimes receive in order to get ahead.) I don't think anyone would be surprised that the nastiest of the nasty critics were LW fans. (It was originally classified in Mature because I was completely unaware of the "rules" of the categories.)

Don't know how I missed this the first go-round.

Since you seemed to like Shock Radio (thanks for the comment, by the way), you might want to try Emet.

Enjoy.

When I read Shock Radio, I was totally picturing Bulldog from Frasier. Was I close?
