Reading list recommendations

Thank you. Do you have a story from your inventory that you would recommend?

Depends on what you're looking for in a story, I guess.

These are the ones with the most positive comments:

Hurricane Season: group sex, 3 pgs. Light and fun
Skater's Waltz: erotic couplings, 4 pgs, happy ending
Wicked Hot: group sex, 4 pgs, a little over the top, but it was hubby's bday gift

These are the ones I'm the most proud of, even though they aren't as popular:

The Mill: erotic horror, 6 pgs, not a happy ending
What the Hell Are You Looking At?: ex/voy, 1 pg, my explanation of Dejeuner sur l'Herbe by Manet
Snowball's Chance: anal, 5 pgs, m/f anal and m/m oral and anal
My Reference: gay male, but only the last scene contains m/m oral. 2 pgs. The rest is m/f. This is kind of a satire on office politics at my job. I have a sort of sequel in the works, based on events in the last week. (No sex involved at my job, but it's more fun to write it that way.)
I Won a Basket of Porn: satire, 2 pgs, based on true events, with a crazy fictional spin. Unconventional format too, if that makes a difference.

My Decision, We're Getting There, and Hurricane Irene are embellished versions of true stories (hubby and me). Don't read Be Awesome. As soon as I submitted it, I decided I didn't like it. I don't even like it enough to fix it.

Thanks for asking!

You're welcome. I'll read the other entry as well over the weekend.

One of the stories is my head is a parody of a black space pirate with a lightyear long dick. Try and get that at home! ;)

My husband wants to know how to get a "lightyear long dick". I'd like to know if it goes to "infinity and beyond"! :D

You're welcome to sift through my offerings (link in my sig). I write in mostly all genres, but a reasonable sampling would be these:

Blown Away
Cattleya
Dawn's Very Special Halloween Party
Going Goth (7 chapters)
One Dozen Roses
Out of Range
Rewrite
Someday ... I'll Find You
The Snow Globe

Enjoy. :D

Yet another I read, and neglected to comment on. I read the first chapter of Going Goth. It was a fun read. I was kinda glad they got caught at the end of the chapter, just to mix it up.

I had read Snow Globe a long time ago. It was a pleasure to read- quirky and surreal. I loved it.

Thanks for playing!

Let me add a couple to the list:

A Trip to Texas
Romance- Asshole boss, wife leaves. Go on vacation, what else.

Bare Back
EC- A mother and her two daughters have fun riding horses

Bound
BDSM- A heart shaped butt plug sealed the deal.

There are many more but enough already. ;)

I just read Bound. I'm pretty sure I read that one a long time ago. Very hot. Although I wish he hadn't brought up the blackmail. Surely there was another way!

I also read The Spanking. If you look "dirty old man" up in the dictionary, it says "See The Spanking by TxRad." ;) I loved it!

Yeah, the blackmail part was redone for the commercial version.

:D "The Spanking" was a fun write and right up my "dirty old man" alley. Good things always cum in twos.

If you're still taking suggestions I'll put this one up.

It was my first contest entry and is in fetish revolving around an office romance spurred on by a foot fetish. Just sort of a fun story

Always taking recommendations. Don't expect comments until Thanksgiving Break though. This weekend was my last hurrah, I think. I'll be regretting this weekend's big slack off by 7:35 tomorrow morning.

On the bright side, I read a whole bunch of stories here, painted my toenails, and even read Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption. I think I read it almost 30 years ago, and it's my favorite movie of all time.

Thanks for the recommendation!

Not sure if a series is in the works for you, but my current series based on a prequel to the show Sons of Anarchy might appeal to you. Drama, drugs, sex, crime, murder, revenge killing and more is in it, so it might have something you're looking for.. Look for Redwood Nine in the Celebrities category. There are 13 chapters for the first season and 7 out so far for the second.

When I never get any work done again, I'm blaming hubby for getting Netflix and you for the Sons of Anarchy suggestion. I'll get to your series eventually. I'm only on episode 3. :)

Since you seem to have liked my 2007 Halloween entry, Shock Radio, you might enjoy my latest story . . . once it gets approved by Laurel. It's another Halloween story. ;)

Looking forward to it. If I can tear myself away from the freaking netflix.

Loved it. Suspenseful, hot, and a real pleasure to read. The texting was very effective. One liners seemed to put the "relationship" in fast forward, and all the while, I knew that the man on the other end wasn't what she expected.

I lived in a college dorm with a basement laundry room like that. Laundry day was hell.

Thanks for the suggestion. It's a great story.

Thank you. Glad you liked it.

The trolls love it, too. ;)

I read Bite Me while I ate breakfast yesterday. Good little story. I was completely horrified before I finished my Mini Wheats.

Thanks. There are more horrifying stories. Sow the Wind is gruesome. Its about a Halloween tornado. I survived a direct hit Halloween 1973. The noise is overwhelming and everything is like fluorescent green, that's not sucked away.

It was F2 intensity, 100 yards wide. 8 casualties.

I have a new series out called Blood of the Clans. Posting it in Novels and there's 11 chs out now.
It's a story of Highland conquest in 1589 among the clans winning and losing lands and it's told in the present by some interesting family members. Doing quite well with readers, so something to consider.

I dream about tornados. I always wonder if it's a phallic thing. ;) I read Sow the Wind. Your descriptions are beautiful. Interesting contrast with the gruesome content.

Tell me about it.

I always attempt to add something the reader don't expect or at least don't see cumming (snicker) right away. And if there's one thing Lit-readers generally don't like it's surprises - I learned that lesson very quickly.

Of course I've got no intention of changing my style - I write for fun, not for ratings - but still it's an interesting phenomenon. The fact that you apparently have encountered the same tells me that I need to put your work on my reading list. :)

Loved the Robert Frost ending on your Halloween story! :D

Okay, I'll toss a few out in hope of glowing praise or at least a nod they don't suck too bad... :)

I tried White Trash, but it wasn't really my thing. I loved Horror though. The style matched the tale. :)

Well, don't read any of mine, for gods sake! They won't be your cup of tea.

Oh, OK. Challenge accepted.

I read The Wrong Sister. I will try a more recent story before I make any judgements. ;). (I didn't think to look at the date. I just picked at random.)

My overall comment on this one was that the pace was too fast, like I was trying to catch up with it. I didn't have time to feel the terror that either sister must have felt. Especially with the anal. There is no way that the pain would have eased so quickly. That would have been absolute torture for a first timer.

I'll try another one though. Which one do you suggest? (My preferences are in the original post on this thread.)

Oh..thank you. Try the girl with the silver trombone or the pastors wife! I'm evolving from total smut shocking incest and non consent to actual story lines with real writing concepts. I still enjoy unusual situations. I almost think that I'm going to take down my non concent except for the busty Jessica stories.
