This is the crisis he's been waiting for all his life, and I happily note that he's been extremely effective since Tuesday afternoon. The rescue effort became very well organized, lots was achieved, and most of the city is functioning alright except for the damnable bomb threats.

New York is very lucky he had health problems that caused him to drop out of the Senate race. I'm not sure anyone else could have been as effective as he has. This event, while a terrible tragity, has certainly showcased him as an organized, effective leader.

SS, we have certinally our disagreements in the past, and we most likely will have them in the future, but on this subject we are in agreement on. Rudy G is the right man in the right place for this tragic event. Some one had really good staff work.

I've always liked and and supported Giuliani and I think he's been very good for the city. My admiration for him has only increased this week.
