Anyone watching RAW tonight?

If so, they are having a special tribute to all the past Intercontinental Champions

reason : because they are taking the World Title and the Intercontinental Title and unifying them all into one belt.. on Sunday..

so.. tonights RAW should be a memorable one

It'll suck. Honestly, the preview says something like "Eric Bischoff is planning a tribute". It'll be another joke thing, i know it. WWE has gone downhill, hard. The only reason i even watch Raw anymore is due to force of habit. Havent watched Smackdown in forever. No use, just read the spoilers, and move on. It just isnt fun anymore.

With the Intercontinental Championship being absorbed at Sunday's No Mercy winner-take-all battle, tonight's RAW is the last one that will feature the prestigious title. With that in mind, RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff has planned a Intercontinental Title tribute tonight on the show! With all the legendary Superstars who have held that championship in the past, this one is sure to be a can't-miss!

Kane, the Intercontinental Champion, is scheduled to battle Triple H, the World Heavyweight Champion, in a winner-take-all showdown at No Mercy. But will Kane even make it to No Mercy? Is there any validity to Triple H's claims? We'll undoubtedly get more information on this unbelievable story live tonight.

I don't know if all of you are aware but the person who has been playing Kane up until his last return, about 2 months ago, had to undergo some serious and dangerous surgery.

My wife and I have noticed that Kane is all of a sudden walking differently, doesn't seem as large etc, etc, etc.

The person currently wearing the 'Big Red Machine" costume is not the same one who hung it up about 5 months ago.

Its the same guy..

He underwent surgery for a torn disk or something..
He had to drop some size for health reasons.

Yup, its still Glenn Jacobs, the one and only Kane. Just dropped alot of weight, he's more cut now. And the surgery he had was on his bisceps.

haven't heard anything about that..

also, vince mcmahon had talks with lennox lewis. theres a chance that lennox lewis will fight brock lesnar.. at the pay per view after royal rumble.

sorta like the whole mike tyson thing that vince set up back in the day. what's with boxers and WWE.. christ

The "new" guys have been working their tails off for a long time now. It's impossible for the "new" guys, as you so put it, to do anything to win the crowd, or just get over in general, when you have top guys like HHH and the Taker protecting their spots. I'll admit, i popped as big as anyone when Hogan came back in the Red and Yellow, and went crazy when i saw him live. But he'd lay down for people, help get younger talent over. When was the last time you saw the Taker get beat cleanly? Triple H? in a singles match? The guys at the top, those that have been around for a while, they're hogging the spotlight. Build up some newer main event talent. The only main event guy worth anything right now is Kurt Angle.

With Nash coming back, its just abother 45 year old guy that wants to be world champ, along with the likes of Taker/Hogan. Get some better storylines, work on the feuds, so many things could go better...but no. This is how WCW went down the drain.

Triple H is the one everyone has controversy with.. over the way he don't job to anyone. everyone felt that RVD should have won last pay per view.. but once again, Triple H.. and his "status" prevented that from happening

Well I just don't think that either promotion has 30 wrestlers that would be able to do an entertaining rumble. But then again the Rumble isn't until January so this whole seperate promotions could be done and over with by then.. who knows

If they want to make Survivor Series more interesting they should have actual Survivor Series matches where it's 4 on 4 and each member of the team has to be pinned/submit. Just like they did with the WWF/Alliance match.

I agree. I liked the Survivor Series of the 90's.. where.. they had 4 on 4 forces.. and each one had to get pinned.. and it could come down to 3 on 1 .. or anything

the recent Survivor Series.. they barely have those type matches anymore..

Royal Rumble is my favorite. also, WrestleMania 19 looks to be pretty big. The Rock will be there. Shawn Michaels will be wrestling at it. It's shaping up to be huge.

yeah.. that was way back when a chair shot actuially meant something. Hell I remember when Tatanka (sp?) actuially went out for two weeks because he got hit on the back with a fold up chair once. Now nary a match goes by without a chair shot.
