Polls are not the issue. Obama will have plenty of material success for the remainder of his time in this vale of tears.

The issue is whether the mountain of debt, and the increased role of federal governance, will fundamentally alter the country.

Regarding Obama, my feeling are ambivalent. I think considering the pile of shit he was handed by Bush he has not done badly though there are some very questionable issues.

Regarding polls, I don't give them much credit in deciding if Obama is actually doing a good job. Because Obama is charming people will gravitate to him and say he is wonderful as he spoon feeds them pig shit. It is just the way it is. Most people are ignorant about issues and if you ever watch the videos where they ask people at elections standard questions that anybody should be able to answer you know this to be true. It is amazing that adults cannot tell you who the VP is or the three branches of government or who is buried in Grant's tomb.
