I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lites than Kay.

She watched silently as he worked. His brow furrowed, fingers flying across the keyboard, occasionally stopping to sip his coffee. They spent hours like this, both on their computers, in the glow of the blue light. Her fingers were still, placed on the keyboard, brain at a standstill after working for two hours. She stood up to get herself a fresh cup of tea, pausing to stroke his neck as she walked toward the kitchen. Their relationship was comfortable, familiar. Leaning on the counter she fiddled with the string of her tea bag. How many years had they shared their love? How many cups of tea had she drank in his presence, working side by side, in silent companionship? Their night would end as it usually did, one of them softly closing their computer, a quick head tilt towards the bedroom. He truly loved her, she knew without a doubt. Each night she fell asleep with the taste of sorrow in her mouth. He deserved better than her tainted love. And yet, tomorrow was a new day. She would try to be better for him. She'd work harder to keep her thoughts on the only man that mattered. In the real world, her real life.

Twice I've left the dog for my husband to look after & twice she had an accident (pee) because he wasn't paying attention when she wanted out. She's been housetrained since she was 10 weeks old, if it was "his dog" the thing would be 6 months old before she was, maybe longer
