Speaking from PURELY accidental experience, I can assure you it is NOT for the weak of heart...
Had occasion to be using a little Icy Hot on a strained groin when I got a little too close to the jewels and let me tell you, that shit does not just rinse off. Call me a wimp but that shit brought tears to my eyes for far too long. Once it starts burning, it does not stop any time soon...

It may be that your upper bits are a little more accustomed to rough handling and a little less sensitive as a result. Still, I might recommend you tread very lightly to begin...
You can always try something a little less extreme to test the waters as it were. A little dab of mint toothpaste might get you a little tingling sensation without causing you to run through the house screaming...
Either way, we WILL be expecting a full report on your results!
