Last night I went out to dinner with my son. At the table next to us, the couple was on a date. The guy wouldn't shut up, and the girl looked everywhere but at him.
He'd ask a question, and then answer it himself. All I could think was, does this guy not recognize his date is already over, doomed to the depths of hell?

I love to people watch, wondering where everyone is going, what they're thinking, if they're happy sad, scared. But sometimes I question why we are here? What's our purpose in life? Why do horrible things happen to good people? We live, we die, the end? Etc etc
