Hey, I just upgraded my RAM from 64 to 192.....can I expect my computer to run better even though I never really used all my available ram at 64? Also, will this make the net run smoother?

Ok I went to the file types deal and found what I am looking for but cant seem to set as a default any particular player....I choose browse, and I set the Windows Media Player, and it tells me that its an incorrect file path....UGH.....smae thing with real player.....Im clicking them in there off the desktop file........any suggestions?
